/news+/ here…when I saw this story I wondered what /suicide/ thought about this…horrible bitch who should spend decades in prison…or your new waifu?

PLAINVILLE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Plainville teenager has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in her former boyfriend's suicide.

Officials say 18-year-old Michelle Carter encouraged her former boyfriend, 18-year-old Conrad Roy, to commit suicide. Just weeks later, in July he drove to a Fairhaven Kmart parking lot, filled his truck with carbon monoxide and took his own life.
"All I can remember is his smile all the time," Roy's grandmother said.

Police say they found text messages from Carter in Roy's cell phone.

According to court documents, at one point Roy got out of his truck to rethink his plan, Carter told him "get back in."

"Instead of attempting to assist him or notify his family or school officials, Ms. Carter is alleged to have strongly influenced his decision to take his own life, encouraged him to commit suicide and guided him in his engagement of activities which led to his death," a representative of the Bristol County DA's office told FOX25.

By phone, Carter's defense attorney said, "It's unfortunate that he undertook this decision to end his own life but it is outrageous for the Bristol County District Attorney's office to now criminalize this situation."
After Roy's death, we learned Carter posted messages about him on social media, even held a fundraiser in his honor, leaving his family wondering why.

"If she really loved him, as she said she did, why didn't she try to persuade him not to?" his grandmother wonders.

Carter was indicted as a youthful offender and will be tried as an adult. She was released on $2,500 bond and ordered to stay off social media. The teen is due back in New Bedford Juvenile Court on April 17 for a pretrial hearing. If convicted she could face 20 years in prison.

Wow no way I'd kill myself because someone looking like THAT encouraged me to. Still it's screwed up how she'd encourage him then try to make amends afterwards…

It's a whole new level of beta.

I have to wonder how much of the suicidal idea was his alone and how much was her pushing him.

Im all for people making the choice to kill themselves, but when its someone else telling you and pushing you into it, it feels wrong. That isnt someone else's decision to make.

Maybe she saw that he was suffering and would continue to suffer and just wanted to help him?

Either way, she never forced him to kill himself, she just expressed her opinion about it..

I agree with you. If I had a partner that was suffering, I would want to help too.

>According to court documents, at one point Roy got out of his truck to rethink his plan, Carter told him "get back in."
>get back in

Someone who is impressionable and weak would easily follow that command. Thats a really hazy grey area, imo.

Damn that actually makes sense looking at the article again. From this perspective it looks like she was just trying to help him and then was honoring his memory. From op's and my first perspective she just seems like a bitch…

Hahahaha

I've heard cursory information about this case. I'm not really sure, honestly I don't take much issue with her encouraging him via text. I mean, he's the one who set all this up, rethought it, and then opted to hop back in the truck.

Got a picture of the guy who killed himself?

you got that right

Sounds like she wanted him to kill himself so she could get attention and pity on social media. Dumb bitch needs to rot in prison. Suicide should not be influenced by anyone but the person deciding to do it.

It's very hard to say without knowing either of them.

But just from appearances, I'm seeing a sociopathic normie bitch having fun sending a sad loser over the edge.

Never underestimate the potential of pretty girls for evil. She may be a bit weird in this photo, but she is a classic cute blonde. And they can be utterly horrible.

98f208 No.9738

when you love someone you don't want them to kill themselves. You want to be with them. You want them around. Losing them is a terrible idea that hurts to think about.

No one encourages a loved one to commit suicide.

No, I can love someone but see that they are suffering and it is better for them to die than live, even though it will hurt you, it is better for them.

It's not love to keep someone alive because you want to be with them.

Although maybe it is sort of, since love is just a chemical reaction in your brain, that can become just as addicting as hard drugs.

02352b No.9804

It's outrageous to CRIMINALIZE causing someone to commit suicide?

There's always a reason why I fucking hate lawyers.

Whenever someone commits suicide, they should have a murder investigation.

Some asshole or cunt, always, is responsible.
