The only reason I'm alive today is that I am hostage to guilt. I can not bring myself to end it because if the emotional harm it would bring on the few people I still care about. Two of them have been nearly destroyed by unexpected suicides of close friends and family. I can't bring myself to cause that kind to pain to them.
