Driving around at night has been pissing me off. There are so many wooded areas where I live, but everywhere I go, the places are either fenced off or not vehicle accessible. I've had a cheap charcoal grill with the legs removed in my backseat for weeks now.

I have decided that on Friday I'm going to rent a room after buying another grill to ensure this happens. See, this woman committed suicide because her husband cheated on her. She left behind three children. I was deeply in love with her and tried to make moves. Having known her since high school, we were friends and she was always nice and cheery. Not at all like a suicidal person. Her loss has left me with this constant pain in my gut, and a month and a half later I'm constantly plagued by memories. My mind torments me with these memories a thousand times. My heart aches and weeping does not solve anything. This is agony every day. Purely pain.

I live with people right now. So, I'm going to rent that room for the weekend and seal the bathroom door with two grills burning charcoal. According to wikipedia on charcoal burning suicides, death is due to carbon monoxide buildup and apoxia rather than asphyxiation. There are conflicting reports. While I'm at work, lets discuss and find resources.

I would suggest investing in a helium tank instead, smoke might be uncomfortable to get in your eyes

I'm a heavy smoker with keratoconus, and I own two cats. My eyes are always irritated. I just want to leave this life and this pain and take a chance at seeing my friend again. Even if it doesn't happen, it's worth the try.

I tried this before. Passed out, then woke up and clawed my way out (taped errything up). Eyes were very irritated, lots of coughing, etc. Nothing permanent though. Apparently it's harder to do right than you'd expect, gotta make sure co emissions are way higher than co2 emissions

Also if you fail the stench won't leave for weeks jsyk and it permeates everything

What about the will to die? Did you suddenly decide you wanted to live when you woke up? CO is permanent by the way. Carbon binds to the blood. You'll have brain damage and feel slow, unmotivated. I know the sensation, as smokers have ten times more CO than non smokers. I've been smoking a long time.

Why did she have to succeed but this is so hard? Ugh. I'm still alive. I was on my way to finish when my car struck a piece of debri from the highway and had a flat. I didn't have a phone, so left my emergency lights on as my car remained in the safety lane. Walked to a place to call someone who had a tire jack. Put the little spare on, then got the tire replaced. Turns out, leaving the emergencies on drained the battery and stores don't have my car's battery. Meanwhile, my car's been left charging overnight. The charge was still low this morning. It feels like something's trying to prevent me, but I don't care. I want out.

Did you start the fire in your vehicle, or did you let it burn outside for a while and then put it in to build up CO?

>Passed out, then woke up
It sounds like this anon didn't use sleeping pills. Maybe that's what's needed so you don't wake up during the event.

Humans and their need to "own" everything.

Do you know Yoñlu, OP? He was a young brazilian boy who chose charcoal suicide as his methrod. Pic related is his bathroom on the day he died. Here are his last on a google group: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/alt.suicide.methods/uQlzZOhsnuw/s1WPT4Sap2EJ

He was also a musician. Since he was a teen, he probably killed himself over a bitch. He's gonna get a movie about him somewhere in the near future.

I just felt like posting this, if it doesn't mattter to you just ignore it.

I never heard of him before. Thank you, that's a bit more informative. He's talking about taking a cold bath and it didn't help with bearing the heat, but he was successful. I'm thinking then, three grills and a bag of ice in low bath water so as not to drown. The ice water should help with the heat.

297b47 No.8132

>>8127

I'm glad it was helpful. Yeah, ice bathing might help with the heat. If you have animals, I just beg you not to endanger them while you're doing it. He is well known on brazilian imageboards. One of the big ones even filtered the word suicide to "make a barbecue" some time ago.

It's not going to be at home with my animals, and I don't live alone. I'm looking to rent a local cheap hotel room, bringing along the 3 grills, 2 large bags of charcoal, ice, scissors, lighter and fluid, and duct tape. I'll duct tape the door cracks and vent, light the grills and close them with the little vents they have, and retire to some ice water in the bathtub. First I'm going to put a sign in both English and Spanish that says it's Carbon Monoxide, don't enter but call the cops. Maybe even duct tape an X across the walls leading to the bathroom with a copy of that sign so they really get the message. My problem is that the cheap hotels with very convenient vehicle access (right in front of the door) want a $100 security deposit. I clearly wouldn't be getting that back. If I'm going to pay upwards of $150 for a night, I might as well find a nicer hotel as long as I have quick access to my car. Most have inside rooms. "Sir, you can't barbeque in there." is not what I want to hear after spending money and planning.

They asked me how I knew

my true love was true

I of course replied

Something here inside

cannot be denied

They said "someday you'll find

all who love are blind"

When your heart's on fire,

you must realize

smoke gets in your eyes

That's the first time I've heard of The Platters. Strange how YouTube embedding is disabled.

OP here. Consider this method officially debunked. I had 25+lbs of charcoal burning in a small bathroom. One larger grill and two small ones, burning simultaneously. I slept for two hours, and duct taped the door and vent. (More than recommended) Sleeping pills didn't keep me asleep past the irritation. After an hour I had (and still do) the will to die, so I spent the second hour just forcing myself to stay in there, eyes closed, no sleep coming. It feels like the burning in my lungs will never go away. Everything smells like charcoal. Have to see the doc today about CO poisoning. Yay.

DEBUNKED

Extremely uncomfortable. The internet typically agrees you need around 15lbs, when I had 25+lbs burning. I was looking for apoxia, that overconfident loss of consciousness and awareness. I need to find a high concentration of nitrogen gas.

> Consider this method officially debunked

Hundreds of people have died like this, and you've "debunked it", without even considering that you're completely and utterly incompetent and screwed up, just like you've continuously screwed up in your miserable life.

fa49d5 No.8208

>>8197

Hey, I just struggled under 25 lbs of burning charcoal for two hours with my lungs and eyes burning when the method was supposed to kill around 30 mins. Fuck you.

fa49d5 No.8211

When I say the method is supposed to kill around 30 mins, that's what they said about 15 lbs. So 25 lbs would've killed me right? Wrong. Here I am, alive and not even feeling negative effects besides the fact I just slept another 7 hours. I am at full strength. I'm a large fit man. Maybe the hundreds who died were tiny little weak, half starved pussies. All I've read about were half starved chink deaths. Tiny little men and women who would probably die if you blew on them. This method is for those who are extremely fragile already.

5eb716 No.8244

>>8211

This guy died by using 2 charcoal grills.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brad_Delp#Death

Anyway the point is, any method has failed before, that doesn't mean they don't work. People have fell from airplanes when their parachute didnt open and survived. People have been hit by a fucking train and survived. There were even cases were death sentence by hanging or electrocution didnt work. One guy was hit by a lightning 7 times and survived, shit happens.

Anyway if you want the charcoal method to work, you need to use this : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shelter_in_place

It's government/military guidelines to seal a structure properly, skip to the section "CO2 build up".

5bb78f No.8248

>>8211

You know, I don't think it has anything to do with race. For some reason, it didn't work for you. Maybe it wasn't burning enough, or there was a leak, or whatnot. You can't discount what's worked for my others because it didn't work for you.

I'm sorry it didn't work though, best of luck in catching the bus.

fa49d5 No.8298

>>8244

I'm not sure what that means, if I should've waited three hours as the smoke and CO built up or what. I do know that CO2 will produce symptoms of gagging, suffocating, struggling to breathe. What I did was seal off the vent and entire door frame of a small bathroom in a hotel room. I set up charcoal in one large grill and two small ones. 25 + lbs of charcoal burnt.

>>8248

I didn't mean race specifically. I meant small and weak conditions. I'm not fat. I'm a thin and somewhat muscular fit person that eats healthier than say.. rice and fish. And certain economic conditions in China, these people could've been half starved already. I eat a healthy diet.

I'm considering though. I had work the next morning, so I pretty much rushed everything. The entire preparation after I bought everything though, from the car to the hotel room and setting everything up, took over three hours.

I think the smoke needs to fill the room for three hours first, and then there are two things I didn't account for: Goggles and throat lozenges. The eyes burn. The throat burns. And this burn is not mild. It's nearly unbearable. Twice the recommended dose of sleeping pills didn't put me under.

So to recap with what you'd need: a hotel room with small bathroom, plenty of duct tape to seal vents and the door, lighter fluid for three charcoal grills (do not close the lids upon lighting), two 12 lbs+ bags of charcoal, signs to indicate carbon monoxide outside the door, one bag of ice and lightly running water, even a pillow and blanket in the tub to counteract the pain of heat, goggles for your eyes, throat lozenges for the burning sensation, plenty of anything to drink as you'll get extremely thirsty, and FOUR HOURS plus falling asleep.

The above is the only way I can see this working to kill someone. I feel like I did achieve carbon monoxide poisoning in a little over two hours, and had to sleep for 7 hours, wake, went back to sleep 7 more hours with the window open and plenty of air flow to recuperate.

This just isn't a "swift and painless" method as so many say it is. It's uncomfortable as fuck. Honestly, ask me anything.

5eb716 No.8356

> in March, 2003, three Israeli residents of Kafr Qassem, a mother and her two sons, died in their sleep after sealing the room in which they were sleeping against potential chemical or biological attack. They had lit a charcoal fire to keep warm, unwittingly following the same preparations in Charcoal-burning suicide.

fa49d5 No.8395

>>8356

Yes, I read that several times when searching the internet for this method before all of my preparation. It sounds like they sealed the room too well. The smoke burns your eyes and throat. It is not relaxing.

Jesus this is the dumbest reason for heroing I've ever read. You got turned down by a nice woman (WITH 3 FUCKING CHILDREN) and she ended up killing herself now you can't get over her?

I've never touched a woman in my life and never will but I still think that wizardry is preferable to raising 3 of somebody else's kids!
