Drowning isn't a decent way to go. Before you get the bliss everyone talks about, the lizard brain takes over and you get instinctual terror. I'd rather live than go through that again.

This would work. Go out on some country road, get drunk as shit, and wrap the hood of your car around a tree. Don't forget to leave your seatbelt off.

if you have no seatbelt on, you veer off a clear road for no reason, and there are no tyre marks on the road (a normal person would be frantically braking in a crash) then it will still look like suicide
