NEW COMIC BOOK DAY
Every Wednesday I used to skim the new comics on the blog and maybe say something about a couple of them. WELP WON'T NEED THAT SHIT NO MORE but I do still skim the comics every week because it only takes me a minute. This is free, but I haven't read it, and I don't know if I want to. I have a sneaking suspicion that the banned books in this are just going to be a bunch of libraries run by eeeeeeeevil conservative republicans who ban books about trannies or whatever. I would hope they'd at least mention the college that wanted to ban stuff by people like Neil Gaiman, but that wasn't really a conservative was it? The CBLDF is good in theory, and they were the first group to fight for the rights of comics creators, and for the free expression of comics, so I don't want to trash them too much, but when it comes to censorship, it's a lot bigger than just the American Library Association these days. The censorship has crept into the mainstream consciousness.

so I was thinking to myself, as I tend to do, about possible interesting plots for video games. just something I spend my free time doing.it was interesting, because this was just on the cusp of gamergate coming into being.
there was one constant thread, running through all my story ideas.
ultimately, at one point after establishing everything else, the main character would be on the receiving end of a false accusation by a woman. the player would then be forced to deal with the catastrophe that ensued before they could conclude the main story events. basically, all of civilization would turn against the main character, based on one woman's lie.
on further reflection, that single plot thread by itself is a pretty compelling idea to weave an entire game around. most importantly, it would speak to every single man on earth, seeing as how not a single one of us has been untouched by this kind of injustice.
best case, we might even help women to understand just how harmful they are to society when they tell such lies.

Trannies are mentally ill and don't understand biology or reality.
This is why people who are into escapism should never be trusted. There isn't much of a difference between trannies and anime fans and people who are obsessed with capeshit.
They both have a powerful aversion to reality, just in different forms. They hate and fear reality, they can't accept it. They have to find some way to reject it. Anime fans do it with their overrated cartoons, capefags do it with their stupid decades old silly childish continuities, trannies do it with their discarding of "social constructs" which aren't social constructs.
And before anyone tries to say "but trannies are REALLY crazy" remember what you have clearly forgotten: anime fans act just as crazy with their mind numbing obsession with overrated silly cheesy cartoons, it's just as damaging to the cultural psyche because it's made people retarded, even cool mod has been made lesser by his reliance on anime in the past. When we were younger than him, it was already obvious to us that anime was nothing but overblown empty hype flash in the pan shit, only useful for entertainment on the most base barebones level. Cool Mod didn't know that, and because it was so long ago, like every other common person, his sense of nostalgia overrides his sense of taste. Yet another example of why we're superior to everyone: we can judge our nostalgic tastes objectively and criticize them, but of course that doesn't apply to anime because we were always too genius to be suckered in by its pretentiousness and the herd mentality of kids our age of the time who were all flocking to anime.
The insanity of trannies is already obvious and well documented a thousand times over by anyone able to perceive even a shred of objective reality, but here's the smoking gun right here: a comic about trannies, made by a tranny (self absorption is yet another giant red flag of mental illness) in which something that is pure delusion can somehow happen in this fictional comic, and then used as proof that therefore the patriarchy is wrong and gender norms are wrong. All it does is accidentally prove through its wrongness that anything it's against must therefore be correct. This is a rule of law we've observed thousands of times over the past few years, me and SE, and no one else.

A new way beyond all the cuckery is possible, but all other things do have to be discarded first. However, paradoxically, this also includes "critical theory" which involves discarding everything. We have to see beyond even that and realize that a lot of natural instincts are correct. But to know which are which, we not only have to start over, but we need a way to detect all the people who are already prejudiced or carrying incorrect preconceived notions. We know them when we see them, the problem is that pretty much no one else is capable of that.

We should have a thread about it. It looks really cool and fun, and actually looks like it will be a game of some legitimate length. It combines all the cool base building and capturing people stuff from Peace Walker that I liked, with even bigger sandbox open world etc etc. Plus sexy objectification. Also very obvious inspiration from Skyrim, which is odd because Fallout 3 and New Vegas were better (because it had guns haha).
We should also list the things that are stupid about it of course ayy lmao
For example, Kojima broke the game up into "episodes" solely so he can make his name pop up EVEN MORE than ever in the credits, every time at the beginning and end of every episode, and then even at the beginning of the opening credits and at the end of the opening credits, it opens with "created by hideo kojima" and then opens with "written and directed by hideo kojima" like he simply cannot say his name enough.
The game looks like it's going full edgelord with non stop torture and rape and gore porn and dismemberment fetish like aaron diaz. He's putting in body horror stuff, cute girls with bombs in their uterus, people's severed limbs and permanent brain damage, it's like this is what happens when Kojima tries way too hard to go the horror route, you can tell he wanted to do a Silent Hill game, in fact that game might've been creepy but only because of how grimdark shadow the hedgehog edgy it would've been. The people who actually fall for that edgy shit are the people who like the "story" of this game. The story is still a ton of silly shit, and the people who act like there are spoilers for the story in this game are grown up children. It's like having the new Transformers movie spoiled for you: who gives a shit? Wanting the gameplay to have surprises, yeah I can understand that part at least, because the gameplay was always pretty decent, though the games themselves were never really long enough to justify it (they lengthened the game well enough by making all of them have plus modes with huge bonus items and all that shit).
TONS OF LENS FLARES like JJ Abrams, as well as tons of Michael Bay shaky cam, notice how Kojima is influenced by popular directors, not necessarily good directors. Hideo Kojima is the Michael Bay of video games, but with the writing talent of Uwe Boll.

I'm not sure that this is entirely the right forum for discussing this, because I'm a newfag when it comes to le chans. But it's about webcomics and webcomic artists, so I figured this would be a cool place to talk about it.
Sean McGuinness is the dude in charge of Twisted Kaiju Theater, a webcomic that uses Godzilla and Japanese action figures. Recently, he's turned around and went into full SJW mode, against GamerGate and stuff. I used to be a big fan of his, but seeing his current arrogant attitude has turned me away. He has a real ego like a lot of webcomic artists. But that's not the whole point. My point here is to kinda shed some light on some of his behavior.
Recently, he made a series of pictures where he expressed disappointment at people saying "Gozira" in a stereotypical Japanese accent. He criticized these people and called them racist, telling them they should be less offensive. But the webcomic and the humor itself makes it seem kinda hypocritical for him to lecture people on racism.
He's made many racist jokes about Muslims and Asians, but the biggest one to me were his black jokes. In his comic, he has a character named Space Hojo who is supposed to represent his black roommate/co-writer. As far as whether he exists or not, I cannot say. But what he made the character say feels kinda jarring to me. I'm not sure how to feel.
It just feels, to me, kinda hypocritical for him to make those types of jokes but them condemn others for making racist jokes. Maybe I'm looking at this wrong or something. What do you guys think?

So I'm new to this tumblr thing. I find the site and individual blogs a pain to navigate. It doesn't help that every damn blog has its own particularities.SWC, for example, seems really dreadful to navigate. You gotta scroll and click arrows continuously to see older content. Can't seem to page skip. Have to mouseover posts to see tags and date. Following up on older content after a break is a pain, since I need to scroll and click a lot to get pack to where I was. There seem to be a lot of duplicate posts, although some of those are due to conversations. But why doesn't it just show the final form of conversations, instead of scrolling down and seeing earlier versions over and over?
So, yeah. Is SWC just meant to be something you only read if you follow current posts? Is Tumblr just a shitty site to navigate or is SWC deliberately shitty?

First to be determined: A name. A good short punchy hashtag name.Second: Goals. First, have to state that the movement is against misogyny, just as it is against misandry, against doxxing, against harassment. Although that said, I do think there should be some specific goals, and that is to be a final discarding of superhero comics.
Next should be the insistence that either the currently existing comics companies, or PERHAPS A NEW COMICS COMPANY will never be beholden to complaints. Create comics that may have offensive content, and let the chips fall where they may. If people don't like it, they don't have to buy it. A comics company that doesn't have to cave in to advertiser pressure, or any of that kind of shit, and willingly creates content that is against social justice, or even in favor of social justice, no matter what. Like a TRUE believer in the free market, the buyer should be free to choose.

I hate webcomics.I prefer spending my free time playing video games. so here's a thread about the ones I'm spending my time with at the moment.
as of the posting of this, I have a pinched nerve and a strained muscle in my shoulder, and my arm rest on this chair can't be moved. so it's easier for me to grasp a console controller. as a consequence, I've been playing a lot of dragon's crown (thanks feminism, for making me aware of this game). I got my dorf guy to lvl 108 and am slowly grinding away at getting to higher floors in the tower of mirage.
but aside from that, I also went back to bliablow 3 and rejiggered joytokey so that I can play it with a gamepad. it's not as precise, but it's about a trillion times less of a clickfest and so it's far less arduous to play.
other than that, I've also been fuxing around in tittyfall and battlefield 4, when I can tolerate origin long enough to run them. fuck origin with a broomstick.
