so I was thinking to myself, as I tend to do, about possible interesting plots for video games. just something I spend my free time doing.
it was interesting, because this was just on the cusp of gamergate coming into being.
there was one constant thread, running through all my story ideas.
ultimately, at one point after establishing everything else, the main character would be on the receiving end of a false accusation by a woman. the player would then be forced to deal with the catastrophe that ensued before they could conclude the main story events. basically, all of civilization would turn against the main character, based on one woman's lie.
on further reflection, that single plot thread by itself is a pretty compelling idea to weave an entire game around. most importantly, it would speak to every single man on earth, seeing as how not a single one of us has been untouched by this kind of injustice.
best case, we might even help women to understand just how harmful they are to society when they tell such lies.

Here's a rad but much-ignored game with lots of "strong female characters" that the games media pretends to want whenever there isn't a big corporate release to shill.
The story to Devil Survivor isn't that great (8/10 by gook cartoon standards, which is a 3/10 tops by real people standards); it's about post-apocalyptic bullshit and only a small group of good-looking white teenagers have the power to save it. Devil Survivor isn't that well written, but it serves as a great refutation to the claims of feminists.
There are important chicks in every part of Devil Survivor (a spinoff of the inferior Persona series, which is clearly weeb trash). They belong to and/or lead the multiple political factions that the player has to choose from, and each and every one of them has is valuable from a gameplay standpoint. They should fit every definition of "strong" female characters.
So why did the social justice cartel that obviously controls the world of vidya ignore this game? First of all, it's japanimu, and SocJus despises Japan for being seemingly immune to their cancer (Japan has loads of problems with its stupid society, but feminism is fortunately not one of them). And because it's a chinaman cartoon, none of the characters are designed to appeal to dumb-tattooed, half-head-shaved 20-something white tumblrites. This infuriates said morons enough for them to write angry blog posts about how problematic jap comics are and how they shouldn't be allowed to be sold in enlightened Western countries.
Another reason is that the chicks in Devil Survivor are allowed to be human. There are some mentally strong ones that are admirable (unlike 3dpd), but take Yuzu, pictured above, the hot 17-year-old animu gril with the big cans. Throughout this gay game she wants to avoid fights, avoid arguments, and if you listen to her you get the bad ending because you didn't use your supernatural powers to help people in need. OH SHIT did a female character do something wrong? Did she react to a situation in a believable way and still ended up doing the wrong thing? SocJus would go apeshit over this one character, crying soggy knees this and refrigerators that. What a bunch of fags.
SocJus would also complain that Devil Survivor doesn't have enough pock (because anime characters are white but we're supposed to pretend they're Japanese, and Japanese are honorary whites in the social justice caste system), enough wock, enough homos, enough trannies, that only 50% of the cast is female and not 90-100%, that women with big tits and small waists are too good looking, that imaginary violence against tiny pixels is morally wrong, and that the game is too hard for casual scum like them.
From a gameplay standpoint, Devil Survivor is better than JRPGs because strategy RPGs are objectively better. It requires real planning before each fight and careful use of your units during them. The choices you make in social situations are not the dating sim bullshit of the Persona games but events that meaningfully alter the path of the plot. These are all foreign concepts to SocJus; can you imagine retards like Leigh Alexander or Jonathan McIntosh or Ben Kuchera getting more than 30 seconds into this game before having one of their minions shut it off so they can bring in a brainless walking simulator? I could imagine cool chicks like Plebcomics or Jennifer Dawe or the Honey Badgers playing it and reviewing it fairly, but you'll never see such honesty from the far-left establishment.
tl;dr: Cool game has cool chicks; feminism ignores it, disproves own claims.

Also, as meh as the series has become, Persona also has some pretty decent women as actual characters. Yukari of Persona 3 has to choose between ending the world and "muh boooooyfriieeeeeeeend" and in the end she agrees the world is more important after much struggling. Meanwhile you have other women actively telling her "Yeah, that sucks, but guess what? The world is more important than our feelings." The earlier Persona games have women being strong stat-wise and alright in personality, with Maya sticking out the most in terms of doing shit. Girl got over a phobia of fire in a burning building to save some trapped kids. And this was before dating elements were in the series.
SMT in general is a cool series because characters are written like normal characters, not shitty "Muh strong minority" or unbelievable because "muh belief set".

I have had to do without money for anything I produce for the simple reason that nobody was interested. I can be disappointed, but to feel MY work deserves to be made whether anyone wants it or not is the height of egocentric thinking.

Other than the fact the the writer believes (though she won't admit it) it will produce material that she thinks should exist. If it was concluded that the funds would only produce art that would promote rape, lynching, and Donald Trump, would she been so keen on them existing just to stretch the medium?
In the end, I keep asking the same question. If these people think this shit is SO important and has to exist, why don't they fund the fucking things?
