Hey /t/, what are your go-to sites for finding those torrents? Do you have a top 3 or an all-time favourite?
>pic related

 No.28

I almost always use Piratebay.
When I want games for my emulator I go to isohunt.to

 No.29

>>27
what do you recommend op

 No.30

>>29
I usually use KAT because of its very friendly and helpful community. They are more than just pirates, torrents are just what brings them together. If I can't find what I'm looking for on there, my next stop will be TPB because of its notoriety and large number of indexed torrents. If I still can't find what I need there, it's time for a meta search engine to come into play.
(Ex: http://metasearch.torrentproject.com/ )
I rarely ever walk away empty handed (if at all).

 No.31

>>30
That sounds like a good plan, I usually give up searching after going on TPB (honestly because I didn't know that meta search engine existed)

 No.40

I'm thinking about getting this game..
is bitsnoop a reliable torrent website?

 No.41

>>40
Of course, BitSnoop is one of the biggest. I get stuff from there sometimes. The torrent you're talking about has been rated at 'legit' 16 times, so I say go for it.

 No.42

>>41
got it and the games installing. it seems legit, although the online isnt working so im trying to get that fixed currently

 No.203

Well you have to be a fucking idiot to download something that has viruses.

Never got one even from pirateshit.

 No.225

That is some hot shit.

 No.239

All I would ever need.

 No.243

I was a redditfag for ages, and hopped on the baconbits thing when it was first made. It's ditched the reddit affiliation and has become a decent general purpose tracker in it's own right. I don't download much, just ebooks, some major movies and some tv shows. So it suits my needs fine. Anything not on there I can usually get on TPB.

 No.265

http://torrents.empornium.me/

By far the largest free porn collection on the internet, indexed to a high standard of quality and with hundreds of torrents added per day.

All of the professional scenes are striped from their sites immediately and posted there + any amateur materials they come across.

 No.318

Came here to say this.

TPB, and now i'm sailing the wast seas lost.
want to dl DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION DELUXE EDITION-CRACKED-SC, went to KAT but, don't know who to trust because people are saying there's a virus.

 No.439

Does anyone have any invites for what.cd?

I'm about to try Soulseek as it seems promising, and the meta search engine sounds cool. Filestube is my rec to you all, when you want to find something a bit more obscure.

But yeah, a what.cd invite woul be rad as fuark

 No.490

>>428
I don't know, whenever my AV detects steam_api.dll as a virus I just ignore it. Been doing that for years.

 No.492

 No.505

Alright, is TPB down permanently or what? The original crew is freaking the fuck out:
https://torrentfreak.com/pirate-bay-wont-make-a-full-comeback-staff-revolt-150127
…And looks like it might not be useful any more. No other site is updated as quick as TPB except for private, which you have to usually pay for, and still aren't worth it.

It it dead or what?

 No.508

>>505
I'm not sure they can even come back from this but I'd love to eat my words. Honestly you're better off just doing the legwork and getting into some of the better private trackers. If they make you pay for it, stay away. These sites are free but some are fuckers about it like IPTorrents. The holy trinity for most people is still wcd for music, ptp for movies, and btn for tv shows.

 No.686

>>508
Is there a narrower tracker for a breadth of electronic music specifically?

Also - the best porn tracker?

 No.687

heh, i made an account there when it was first created
i wonder if my account has been deactivated

 No.688

eh, i can always go on their IRC channel/email and ask for it to get reactivated

>Does anyone have any invites for what.cd?
I would give you one, but I honestly think that the interview is an important aspect of joining.
It is really easy to do, the hardest part is waiting for someone to interview you.
You literally just need to know what v0/320/FLAC is.

That being said, What.CD sucks.
I cant post on the forums + download music because I posted something bad about a politician that made people butthurt.

Soulseek is much better and offers more content.

 No.692

>>689
Haha what politician? What did you say?

 No.706

>>689
Not him, but I've studied for that interview who knows how much. I know all about good and bad transcodes, trumping uploads, EAC perfect rips, all the VBR target bitrates, lossless vs lossy, examining spectrals, ratio maintaining, etc.

Like you said, the hardest part is waiting. I don't have time to wait 5 hours for the interview just to start, so I don't know if I'll ever be joining.

 No.712

>>689
Soulseek looks a bit suspicious (Not many users) and isn't open source.

 No.713

>>692
If I posted it here, the What.CD mods could easily recognize me……….

 No.714

All a guy wants is the full siterip for Exploited College Girls and FacialAbuse
But none of the popular torrent sites have the full set. Just individual videos and maybe some small collections if I'm lucky.

I just found out about Empornium today and it's probably the most likely place on the internet that has this stuff, but as luck would have it they've shut down registration.
Anyone have a spare account or can pass a magnet link? I'm willing to seed.

soulseek is not suspicious has been around for ages.. and the author has proven time and time again that opensource doesn't equal quality (or privacy)
