Did you ever legitimately get a virus from a torrent? If so, which product from what website, and what virus?
I tried downloading Sony Vegas Pro 10 from The Pirate Bay and got the shortcut virus on my USB

A few years ago, I downloaded that "Moves Like Jagger" music video in HD and it really fucked with my computer (downloaded from The Pirate Bay). I can't remember exactly what happened but it was like my computer started running really slowly and it was deleting programs too I think, or something fucky like that. Once I deleted the video everything returned to normal. I downloaded the same file again a week later to confirm if that video was the primary source of the problem and the same shit happened and deleting the file fixed it.
It certainly made me wary of "trusted" torrents on TPB, considering this one was not only trusted but also had hundreds of seeders and leechers at the time.

Got a smaller res version of Kung Fury, got CTB-Locker. Either that or Age of Empires II.

Never, since
>I don't torrent programs
>I don't fall for .mp3.exe and the like since I specifically open things with my media player instead of double-clicking
>I use Linux

I think only once in my entire life, it was the Bitlocker Ransomeware and it corrupted all my shit, but I've torrented hundreds of shit in my lifetime so not a bad track record, I think it just takes a bit of common sense when plundering the Pirate sea

seeders and leechers can be faked. if the uploader has the ability to fake this then i'm sure they'd also have the ability to spam some type of "thumbs up" or "safe" rating system

using an auto-clicker on tor for example. or maybe something more advanced like an auto refreshing proxy of some type. they should have made a better virus if you're gonna be retarded enough to download a "Moves like Jagger" HD fucking music video though. pleb

Someone tried putting one of those exe files named Autostart in a ISO of tropico3. No clue what site but it was easy enough to remove…. that or he also put a virus in the launcher and i never noticed.

How's that even possible? A virus inside of a video?

It was probably scripts inbeded into the code of the video. Probably the header.

I downloaded the video to see the uncensored titties. The girls in the video were cute and I needed a fap.
