First of all it probably wasn't Julien that sent the take down notice, it was probably Owen. Secondly, put yourself in Owen's shoes. If you were watching your prize coach being skewered and potentially seeing the business you built going up in flames what would you do? Not saying it's right but have a little empathy.

Yeah Julien's a scumbag, and yeah his teachings can be darker than his followers are letting on. But the fact of the matter is he was banned from countries under the false claim that he promotes rape and sexual violence. I just came in here to check what the shitstorm was after 8chan posted about your board having the ridiculous amount of stickies. Most of the regulars here seem to believe the other side, that the actions were willing and the girl was assaulted. I said BY MY OPINION, it isn't that way. But then again I haven't tweeted, signed any petition, or did anything of the sort. I just made three replies in the board, one explaining something about 8chan's policies, another about waifu jokes, and this one post which was the only serious, on topic post, that I made because that other guy is BR and I felt a need to respond to someone that speaks my mother language.

And as for me personally, I don't need a moral high ground to stand beside someone I respect and have loyalty towards.

None the less, his tweets about choking girls and the domestic violence control wheel were portrayed in the media as being representative of what Julien teaches at his seminars, when that's simply not true.

I mean look at the CNN interview, what kind of questions were being raised? The interviewer wasn't hammering Julien over his assault on the cashier clerk, he was hammering on his choking girls around the world tweets and the domestic violence control wheel. The tweets, which weren't meant to be taken literally are forming the bulk of the media's criticism against Julien.

Also can you link to the interview with the combini clerk? Not that I don't believe you but I'd like to see it myself

And yeah, of course the twittersphere blew up about the joke tweets. They were purposely manufactured to do such. But they had the secondary undesired effect of angering Joe Everyman as well.

I was hoping that CNN would focus more on what crimes he committed in Japan, but they chose the moral-outrage angle as well. Entertaining to watch him shit bricks, but ultimately just more angry teeth-gnashing.

I think people need to be more rational about why Julien needs to burn. That goes for RSD fans, too. Julien and the cancerous sociopath persona he fostered in their ranks destroyed their whole microculture.
