Not too long ago, Hotwheels removed /furry/, /pone/, /cuteboys/, /hebe/ and /younglove/ from the feature boards and it caused a shitstorm among users of those boards.

When asked about it, he said that he removed them to appeal to people moving from halfchan and that it doesn't matter since he's going to be implementing a board tagging system soon.

This seemed kinda contradictory to me since this is a fairly popular board and I'm assuming that most people who are against Julien are against betas in general.

In that case, wouldn't a beta board put off new users?

This probably doesn't matter since he added the boards back a while ago but I still wondered what other people thought of it.
