They can't fire him because that would release him from his non-compete and he could start his own beta company, and this would be the best free publicity for him ever.

But they can't keep him because that looks bad for RSD.

Interesting situation indeed. My prediction is they bust him down to a desk job doing video editing for Hot Seat and the YouTube channel and stuff like that for a few months until everything dies down.
