I've been hunting down some specific and rare as shit long FFC's for some electronics shenanigans and I while I managed to track down the parts I want on digi-key all I could get was 1000 piece wholesale deals.

the parts I got were free salvage from scrapped tech that ironically worked with some ffc ribbons from an old laptop and a dvd player, but none of them are the right length to case this bad boy up.

what does /tech/ do when they can't get what they need? anybody selling good hobby parts? hardmode: I don't have a business to solicit samples with.

1mm pitch 6-pin FFC and 0.5mm pitch 12-pin ffc. they both need to be single sided and 30cm long.

I can get a 20cm 12pin cable off mouser, which I might be able to get to reach if I get creative, the 6-pin nobody's doing. I might buy a wider cable at the same pitch and try to pare it down to the right size.
