A few years ago, someone I knew worked at Onlive. They got me one of the microconsoles. I hardly ever used it since most of the games I played were either things I already had on PC or I pirated them. So now that Onlive is shut down, it's just a paperweight. The console itself still has halfway decent specs, enough to run android or some other light OS at least. So my question is, what can I do with it?

I think you know what you want to do with it, you just need to know how

What's in it? Do you have a hardware spec?

I fell for that meme and actually bought one on ebay, A month later they killed it and i basically had a $50 paperweight.

The service wasn't terrible and the interface was nice but game selection was kinda poor.

If its a Mediatek or an Allwinner then its bios is open and well documented, however, at least with Allwinner, you will need an SD card slot to boot a generic ARM based OS like Fedora, since Fedora has an official ARM spin. Since U-boot searches for an SD slot first, if it has no SD slot but is an Allwinner then there's probably an SD slot header on the motherboard. Not sure how to boot Mediateks since my main experience is with Allwinners, its how I turned my restricted set top box into a Fedora PC

The CPU core is a "Sheeva" what I csn find on it is that it is based on ARMv5 and derived from Xscale

Other than that I can't find any info on generic mobo specs

The important info is if it has a rom resident bootloader and what its default behavior is
