OK, so we all know about this:

Read that if you haven't already

But: what CPUs do not contain it?

 No.546030

As far as I can tell, based on echochamber effects and speculation, the consensus here is that the last safe CPUs are:

>Pentium 4

>FX-8350

But I would like to see if we can get actual legitimate confirmation on this

To correspond this with microarchitectures: everything pre-Nehalem on Jewtel's side should be safe.

With AMD, it's a bit trickier. Family 15h CPUs are still being manufactured: while Libreboot states that this generation is safe and free of PSP, I'd be more cautious if I were you.

That damn link already tells you which systems to avoid. Although, older AMT systems also have a way to disable it, you will do this as part of the Libreboot install for an X200.

Old Intel processors have disastrous security flaws even without the *intentional* backdoor features. I forget what the name of the issue is, but everything older than a certain line of the core series has a massive gaping hole.

Give up on Jewtel, that ship sank 8 years ago at least.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_accelerated_processing_unit_microprocessors#Desktop_processors

If it lists an ARM chip on the die, it's trash. Basically Kaveri onwards. I run a 5370 kabini.

Think either of these companies would respond to a petition campaign to release a non-AMT processor?

Aw hell no. The Jews own Intel, and the chinks own AMD. Both cooperate on an extremely high level with the NSA, no different than AT&T.

Are you referring to that one vulnerability where a certain generation of Intel processors that had virtualization enabled could allow a program with ring 0 access to escalate to ring -2? (That was patched, right?)

Or is there more?

Fuck, I was recommending that one to some friends as an extra budget gaymen rig

Does anybody have the sauce on that one webm of Intel's "sms poison pill" system for laptop theft control? The one with the fancy rendered graphics

Thanks

What is the sauce though? Where did we acquire this originally? Was it from Intel's website?

Same with the A6-5400k.

I have to keep that one.

I'd stock up on Piledrivers, if I were you. My next rig sure will have one.
