I guess the VR revolution is not for poorfags :(

that's not immersive enough

also google phone will then report back to hq and then they will know who my waifu is

 No.546299

That's pretty fucking cheap for manchildren with jobs. And it'll only get cheaper and better with the way phones keep getting churned out for stupid people.

In fact, VR wouldn't have been possible this early without smartphone consumerism and the markets it has drived, ironically.

>VR

>not contributing to the future of waifuism, aka meidobots

For the past month or two I've been really digging my hands into computer science, behavioral science, and biology.

I hope to major in CS/robotics and AI when I move out and go to college.

Now, you may be thinking, "why meidobots? why not waifubots?"...

Meidobots, at least the ones I'll be building, will have waifubot functionality/features, in other words, adjustable assets, or as f/a/gs would call it, "plot". Webm related. It's from my research folder.

Plus, they'll clean up afterwards and tend to the house daily while you can lay back and shitpost,

or sneak up when they're doing the dishes and fuck them from behind.

I was also considering later features and things like maybe a version with a dick.

There's nothing I want more than to get plowed from behind by my big-tittied, fat-cocked android only wearing an apron.

God, I think I need to take my meds soon. I'm getting too riled up just thinking about it.

If anybody has ideas to improve upon these ideas, let me know.

>>546289

but anon, everyone knows who your waifu is.

a dirty slut, that one.

>There's nothing I want more than to get plowed from behind by my big-tittied, fat-cocked android only wearing an apron.

A robot is not going to be able to estimate appropriate force and speed of penetration or level of lubrication any time soon, and would happily tear your anal lining to shreds. If you value your anus, you'll ride that robot futa dong instead.

Yeah, but can you fuck it? What about realistic flesh, fluids, scent and warmth?

This isn't even on an evolutionary path towards vr. It's fucking nothing.

 No.546462

Pretending to be a fucking retard still means that you are a retard for all practical purposes.

 No.546481

>>546462

Yep, knowing what VR means and what it doesn't mean? I must be a retard or a pretend-retard. Calling this piece of shit 'VR' is a marketing gimmick on the level of calling a plane an interstellar space ship.

 No.546489

>>546481

define what's VR then

 No.546494

Not him, but sure the "Virtual Reality" expression carries a little more than goggles + headphone, as these only concern your sight and hearing.

All the senses need to be considered, and at a higher level of fidelity.

 No.546517

>>546494

Virtual reality refers to the simulation of a physical presence in places in the real or an imagined world, and allows you to interact with that world. It has to simulate that physical experience through sight, touch, hearing, and/or smell.

What you're talking about is full body immersion inside a virtual reality. That doesn't mean HMDs are not a 'real' virtual reality technology.

 No.546534

>>546517

Huh? It looks like you agree that all senses need to be considered, then you say that it doesn't matter if only two are when talking about VR.

 No.546537

"VR" in the form of goggles will never be anything more than a niche gimmick.

 No.546541

>>546534

No, they don't all need to be considered.

It's still a virtual reality. And also implying that this isn't a virtual reality technology or isn't an "evolutionary" step towards your IMMURSHUN is fucking wrong.

OSVR m8

 No.546573

>>546541

Sound and sight are the same senses that a PS Vita satisfies. I don't need blinders, like a horse in a city, to be immersed.

basically if I can't fuck a catgirl then I don't care about your hype

 No.546732

>be flightsim fag

>everyone who doesn't fly hypes it as would be very cool etc

>meanwhile can't even read instruments in the cockpit because shitty resolution

TBH in concept it would be amazing but people hyping the current generation of VR so much are either hypetrain retards or shills. Patience faggots, I'm pretty sure VR isn't the last thing left for you to enjoy on cyber. I'm sure there are old games and shit you didn't play yet.

>What is the scale of economics

Also, the Commodore 64 was sold at a fraction of the IBM PC and had superior graphics and sound capabilities, thanks to the fact the Jew Tramiel bought MOS technologies so Commodore could supply their own chips, the 5150 was overpriced as fuck dude

>Samsung VR is 100$+200$ phone=300$ total for decent VR

>high end VR is 600$-800$

HTC and Mark Cuckerberg are price fixing. I bet either of the devices could be distributed for 400$-500$ and still generate a healthy profit. They're lying about manufacturing costs to rip people off

>>546558

It's the best option and is 300$. What do you want to bet the big companies will do dirty dealings to keep OSVR off major retailers shelves?

It's expensive but you don't need a $2,000. Pc to run it.

Alienwares base model pc can run it i think.

You could build something twice as good as alienate for the price of one. Building a computer is no harder than assembling an Ikea shelf.
