Windows hates changing chipset drivers, and I'm not super familiar with the Windows activation bullshit that comes with changing a lot of hardware, but if you're using the same board with the same chipset, you should be all smiles. Or, at least, thirty-seven percent smiles.
I recall there being a way to intentionally relocate Windows by uninstalling your motherboard's chipset drivers from the device manager before shutting down, but when the board has already shit the bed, it's not really an option.
I've personally never performed a Windows transplant in either of these scenarios, so your results may vary.
