 No.547985

>all that talk of i2p

I2P isn't really a meshnet. It relies on previously existing infrastructure.

Here's celebrating 20 years of Meshnets... never getting anywhere

 No.548145

You can go two ways with mesh technology, lots of dirt cheap repeaters or a couple long-range repeaters. Both have their draws and problems.

 No.548154

You are literally joining a botnet when you use Tor, I2P, Freenet, or a meshnet.

 No.548174

>>548154

A botnet is when your computer gets taken over and remotely controlled so i wouldn't call them botnets.

Honeypots would be more accurate.

 No.548238

the only meshnet worth talking about is hyperboria running on cjdns

Go away feds.

For people here in tech: please, watch more this board. After some time without commenting here, I came back and realized that this board is infected with propaganda/astroturfing and possible gov bots to convince people to not protect themselves. Do not listen to them.

Tor is not compromised and is not a honeypot. If it was, we would know this (neets are not the only people inside this project; Tor is managed by many universities around the world). The Tor may be weak to protect you, but it's the best we have. Do not give up your anonymity and try hard to protect your privacy.
