Password management thread.
Are there any better solutions than pic related?
It's nice to know you'll never have to actually remember a password, but it's pretty annoying typing 20+ random character passwords manually whenever you're using a different computer.

>not knowing the exe is portable
>not storing the database on a thumb drive or your phone

>>74>Carrying a USB drive around with you at all times>keeping its files updated>plugging it into other people's computers>the only thing you get in return is the convenience of copypasting instead of writing manuallyHardly a valid solution. It would only be worth it if you had a portable browser install with a keepass plugin on the drive as well as your passwords so you could avoid using the clipboard altogether and have everything be automatic. But this is going full sperglord.

I'm using KeePass, works via Mono on every Desktop I encountered yet and I also have it on my phone for emergency cases. Just don't make your passwords too crazy if you want to be able to input them in a reasonable amount of time. Also carrying a USB drive around with you at all times is pretty legit, get one that looks like a key and put it on your key ring for example, that's what I did. Also if you use KeePass go into Database Settings and set the iterations of the key strengthening algorithm to something more secure.

KeePass + KeeFox browser addon. I'm not too convinced of its security but so far no one have stolen my accounts. I also have backup printed with PaperBak http://ollydbg.de/Paperbak/
