Tell me what you are (secretly) excited for, and what you can't wait to see crash and burn.

I want to see:

High Rise

Bone Tomahawk

Macbeth

Crimson Peak

The Revenant

In a Valley of Violence

Agasshi (because it's by Park Chan-wook, not necessarily for the story)

The Throne

Veteran

The Hateful Eight

Tales of Halloween

31

Warcraft

I will have a hearty chuckle at:

Ghostbusters

Ass Creed

Alien: Paradise Lost

Batman v Superman

Suicide Squad

Star Wars

Looking forward to:

Macbeth (My favorite Shakespeare play, it's going to be pretty hard to fuck up a movie when the script is already good)

Incredibles 2 (Helen Parr looked at her ass in the first movie)

Looking forward to laughing at:

The Hateful Eight (I like a lot of QT's movies but the trailer looks like dogshit)

Ghostbusters (Never really liked the originals, definitely not going to like it with the gender gimmick)

Batman vs. Superman (I was mildly interested until I found out it was a sequel to Man of Steel)

Star Wars (Nostalgia©: The Franchise)

>Agasshi

another park chan-wook movie?

oooh. looking forward to it.

Top zuz. Also, pic related is another good example of how to fuck up a Shakespeare movie.

Can't wait to see the new Goosebumps movie destroy the remains of Jack Black's career.

Speaking of Ghostbusters, there was this post on /cow/. He didn't post any proof though, so it's probably bullshit.

Sicario, Knight of Cups, that Scorsese thing that never gets done.

>push back against Mad Max hurt it

well, this is obvious bullshit. there was no feminism in Mad Max, just a few paranoid individuals parroting conspiracy theories. there was no pushback, the movie was pretty much universally liked.

I think certain outlets did play the bullshit 'finally, a feminist action movie!' card (which maybe that /cow/ guy is implying was pushed by the studio), and some forums on the other side of the spectrum picked up on that and in turn ran with the 'mad max ruined by feminism!' story, sometimes without even having seen the movie. But yeah, I think most people saw it for the fun, straightforward action movie it was.

Fury Road is 15th highest grossing this year, which isn't really anything to sneeze at. It certainly could have done better, but to say it was the feminism articles that hurt it does seem like an unverifiable asspull to me.
