Talos oversoul was created via enantiomorph of Hjalti, Wulf and Zurin, Mantella and later Numidium machinations
Underking was Wulfharth, then after Zurin got busted with Wulfs heart he became Underking, then after Dragonbreak everyone messed up and fucked up so who knows who is Underking

>>1763 I've often wondered how much of the Nerevarine prophesies Dagoth knew about. Did Dagoth give him corprus with some actual goal in mind, or did he do it simply because he knew overcoming it was one of the qualifiers and he was testing the incarnate as much as anyone else was.
Anonymous 10/20/14 (Mon) 20:36:09 No. 1786
>>1782 Dagoth probably knew all about the prophecies, I think. His final goal was, of course, to get the Nerevarine to join his ranks. So he might have thought "Let's infect this dude, if he's cured, we got ourselves a million drakes discovery, and if he goes insane, we got another corprus dude.
Dagoth Gares' dialogue, though, hints at Dagoth Ur already knowing of the prisoner's nature, as he is referred to as "Lord Nerevar". By fulfilling another of the prophecies, I think he hopes to mature the prisoner as quickly as possible to then make peace with him.

A) he was, at least partly, a shezzarine
B) part of his life force was powering Numidium at the time, which might have given his some special advantage or knowledge about the thing.

That's only true in Dawntime though. The Wheel of Convention stops that from happening by having the Earthbones enforce physics on the Aurbis, and its pretty hard to counter their dream of a stable coherent reality.

Even if he was a shezzarine (i support the theory Zurin's body was possessed by Wulfharth after soul trapping him in the mantella) I still don't get what kind of magic or weaponry that could have brought down a metal colossus. I mean this thing is powerful enough to convince all of tamriel to surrender just by looking at it, even if he found some kind of weak spot, most shezzarines are just abnormally strong and have heightened prowess in battle. He would have had to have cast a super accurate spell right into a weak point, but i doubt that dwemer engineering would have left any zelda style weak points.

Zurin Arctus was certainly a Shezarrine, every part of the Talos oversoul was an avatar of Lorkhan. And it was Arctus who killed Numidium, Wulfharth practically admits it in the Arcturian Heresy.

He offered the Golem tea and then calmly explained that if he were to be zero summed, the Mantella would go poof with him. Numidium was BTFO so hard by this, that it literally exploded due to the unbridled impotent rage of a million dwemer souls getting cock blocked again.

It's probably considered some rumor/legend passed around by the high end magic types about how there's some terrible cosmic secret that learning would not just utterly destroy a person but actually unmake them.
Also there's probably some actual 'you need to be able to actually deeply comprehend the truth' component to it, You couldn't just scream "Hey everyone! Your reality is actually a dream of some sleeping dude in another dimension!" and cause everyone in earshot to go poof.

so the only reason the tribunal were able to achieve CHiM is because they did this deep thinking while they had the heart of lorkhan in their possession?

No, only Vivec achieved chim, I think at some point between raping the daedric lord of rape and replacing his personal history with a AU fanfic about how he was hatched from an egg laid by a cyborg half crab/half chimer woman. I think the Tribunal had already lost access to the Heart and were all slowly losing power by that point. I'm not sure, I don't bother ever looking at the timelines for this stuff..
Vivec probably only avoided zerosumming because of his out of control, pathological sense of self importance and ego.

It's a lot more like the Kalevala, Ukko's daughters' breast milk creates the earth, one of his daughters gets pregnant with a sea-bird, and a demi-god is born from the huge egg that results, only to be sent away a thousand years later by a virgin who got pregnant from eating berries.
