Necessities of Morrowind is such a shitty mod. If anything it just detracts from immersion by saying "HEY DON'T FORGET YOU INSTALLED A MOD THAT MAKES YOU HUNGRY" every 2 goddamn minutes with that infuriating crunching noise even though I turned those sounds off. If I want my character to eat, i'll fucking feed him, fucking shit, I don't need a mod to make him pretend-hungry

 No.2548

That's why I never use food mods.

They are suppose to add realism, but I am pretty damn sure *I* don't need to eat every 5-10 minutes… I eat twice a day…That's it.

 No.2563

The hunger rate is made proportional to how quickly time moves in the game.

 No.2567

I usually find myself eating in Skyrim anyway.

Skyrim food is worthwhile, especially if you have a mod to slightly buff it. Unless you're going to go crazy with alchemy, save your salt piles for cooking and gather up food that can be made into stew. Cook it up and use the cooked food as healing potions that don't involve long forages for wheat and blue mountain flowers.

Also, certain stews(Vegetable Soup and Venison Stew come to mind) actually have effects that last significantly longer than potion effects, so you should always be on the lookout for ingredients for them.

Also, with Frostfall enabled, eating soup or stew = big boost to your exposure resist.

This, in RPG open-world games that have food, I always just eat a couple times a day. It seems kind of unnecessary to have a mod that tells you that you need to eat.

 No.6584

I'll never understand why people want mods that force them to eat. I mean, I do it pretty often just to roleplay like the filthy fat neckbeard fetcher I am, but I don't need to go through the hassle of installing a mod to do so.

>implying you didn't just roam the tundra gathering butterfly wings

>implying you didn't run from the hotsprings to windhelm to get blue flowers
