Where the hell is Bethesda? Skyrim is going to be 4 this year. 4 years after Oblivion we knew Bethesda was at least doing something. Has anyone heard anything? I can't play Oblivion, Skyrim or the FO games anymore because I've played them so much that they're not fun anymore. This shit is getting George RR Martin ridiculous.

The only things out there right now are rumors, anon. Relax. Four or five years is pretty normal for TES, like you said. We'll get something soon-ish.

Looking back, I think the overall satisfaction I got from Morrowind then was the highest of the big ES games.
My computer is too shitty to support the mods that update Morrowind, and by now the factory graphics are just too dated. Very frustrating.

I honestly don't think you'd need to overhaul world and object textures and meshes, they're perfectly fine the way they are
I saw a "watercolour" texture the other day that makes things look stylized enough that even vanilla meshes Fucking fit, i seriously recomend that.

>>5207 Each of the first three games has its strengths.
Arena has a very large scope, dedicated to just a basic 'save the kingdom' plot because they were introducing the world. It also didn't have such a blatant furry pandering.
Daggerfall has a huge environment and is very well drawn. Sure there are some issues, such as dungeon maps, and the general balancing of the game
i.e. ebony dagger at level 1 but its still a comfy game.
Morrowind has a very narrow scope, but is very detailed. The main quest, padding section aside, leaves a lot up to you. It still feels pretty large even with the limitations of full 3D. Also very unique architecture all around.
This is my personal favorite too :^) *
