I played Skyrim twice through and explored every possible guild or run through. First time as an orcsimer beserker and the next as a magic heavy Atmer, any way to make the game a bit more interesting? Any recommended mods?

Stealth archery is a thing.

On the subject of archery SkyRe is fun if you don't mind dying instantly every time an arrow looks at you funny.

Sniping is satisfying as fuck. The only issue is that you can't oneshot enemies at the start of the game.

Also get all the loli mods. Those are always good.

Frostfall and TRO basic needs.

Having to devote time to survival makes the quests and dungeon raids feel more exciting. Some mundane is needed to balance the fantastical

>Tropical Skyrim

>Woman's World or All Female NPCS
>Psyrim
>Really Useful Dragons
>HDT-BBP
>CBBE
>Remodeled Armor (CBBE)
>PerMa

All Female NPCS doesn't touch sound files, so it should break less quests. But then Sexy!Ralof uses the man voice. There's not too many places where it's an issue, but it can be an aggravating one (and it's the reason I scrapped this modset).

Either way, this makes Skyrim a really confusing place, but bouncy titties everywhere at least.

>Skyrim is a mature game, for mature gamers such as myself

Have some fun once in a while. Use a good mod manager and you can fuck around and trash your skyrim game and then remove it all without wrecking the actual install.

Play a speech-centric Bosmer maiden who is also a werewolf.

that pic is funny because nobody should take you seriously if you wear that.

Play a sneaky guy, get some mods that overhaul the stealth system. I had one that added rope arrows and shit, was pretty fun.

lots of graphics enhancers

nock to tip

hunterborn

hunting in skyrim

lots of armor and clothes mods

horse renewal

convenient horses

enhanced first person

realistic needs

iHud

stealth skills re-balanced

duel

alternate start

morrowloot 4e

and that's my game.

I start a new game as a hunter, I never do the main quest and I spend my game pretending to be a monster hunter, selling pelts and loot for money to keep myself fed. I didn't touch the guilds other than the thieves guild since they tie into my play-style. I steal and sneak about but I don't kill innocent people.

my character is level 68.

I've got into Skyrim only this year, because I'm taking a break from Morrowind, and play exclusively as a Vigilant/Witchhunter.

First time I played, I killed a dragon in Whiterun and when I realized how everyone is calling me Dragonborn and how OP I am, after literally one hour of playing, I restarted and decided to never again play main quest.

I hate sneaky archer thief characters, something that everyone seems to be playing. Never finished any guild quest. Only started College and got bored of it.

I don't use any graphic mods, except HD textures. Other than that - interesting NPCs, all possible Vigilant mods, immersive creature/armour, NPC AI overhaul, Follower tweak and mods that allow me to prolong Dawnguard recruitment and other quests.

I just roleplay as a Vigilant, patrol the Skyrim and do things they do. Robed steel plate mods adds nice Vigilance enchanted armour. Master restoration/alteration, use flames to burn down heretics, smash them with maces and then pray to Stendarr. Great RP experience.

Tried Frostfall and got so anoyed by it. My nord would freeze around Windhelm in 10-15 minutes, even with clothes on and my whole game was about warming up by fire from place A to place B. Would be immersive only if other NPCs wouldn't walk around me half naked. It just breaks the immersion.

try the mod immediate dragons then do alternate start and choose the option to play as a vigilant of stendarr.

the game will have dragons and whatnot but you won't have people calling you dragonborn and you'll be able to do your own thing. Personally I enjoy playing skyrim without shouts, its a lot more fun and challenging.

When I play I go full sneeky breeky. That means no armor so I can't just take a barrage of hits. In fact i'll die in one hit from a draugr scourge so I have to be careful. Its pretty much the best way to play the game for me.

I can see how can playing like that be interesting, maybe i'll give it a try in future.

Yeah, I forgot Live Another Life - i use it to start right from the Hall of Vigilant. Those ice wolves and ice wraiths are lethal at low levels.

And I also play without shouts and as non-Dragonborn, so I never even bother activating dragons. Something about all of that really doesn't attract me. I just want to be a regular guy. It's funny because in Morrowind, or even Oblivion, I never felt this way.

 No.10220

any mods out there that add some charisma/personality to the dragonborn? i feel like there should be more to dialogue than "beep-boop, acquiring new quest. . . journal.txt update complete"

it doesn't matter how many "immersion" mods I have, I'm still playing a lifeless autism-bot. I haven't found anything good on the nexus, either.

I keep dragons on because it feels weird to me when i'm going around and people are talking about the threat of dragons despite having never seen one, alduin not included. I actually enjoy the dragon fights, doubly so with my character since i'll die if I take a good blast of fire without downing some droughts of fire resistance.

dragon fights feel completely different when you play like I do. I'll just be out in the fields of whiterun hunting some deer so I can eat for the day and i'll see a dragon in the distance. I'll hope it doesn't notice me but i'll get into a struggle trying to take it down with careful precision since the good arrows are so damn expensive. I also use a mod that makes everything more expensive so the game really becomes a good challenge.

yeah I know exactly what you mean, the dragonborn also feels so stupid and out of context sometimes. He's like a really powerful simpleton

Dragons? Oh, they're everywhere! You must fly very high to see most of them, though. The ones nearer the ground are very hard to see, being invisible.

Player Voicesets, use the 'Wulfy' voice set. Nothing better than getting into combat and your dragonborn hollering 'YOU'RE GONNA DIE, BITCH!' or talking a 'Valuable' item and having him say 'Oh this looks like a REALLY nice thing.' or 'Ohh its soo shiny..'

In my opinion it works best with an Argonian character, however. The deep voice just.. Fits.
