Best Skyrim Combat Mod Anonymous 04/19/15 (Sun) 18:18:48 No.6539
Alright fetchers, which combat mod should I install?
Challenge Mode: Not Requiem
Requiem is cool and all, but I'm looking for something that doesn't eat tons of memory

I use deadly combat

It seems to get the job done.

I like Ultimate Combat. It seems to play nice with SPERG and Revenge of the Enemies. I'm using those on my current playthrough and its pretty good. The challenge feels a bit artificial and ridiculous on the highest difficulty so I scaled it back one (I forget what it's called, adept I think?). Revenge of the enemies has added the most challenge in combat though. Centurions are tough motherfuckers

Funny, I'm running the same mods (Ultimate Combat + SPERG + Revenge of the Enemies) as well as a few other combat mods (Combat Evolved and OBIS mainly) and I just overpower enemies, though sometimes I get one shot by some random mage. I am level 45 though, so that may have something to do with it.

I'm level 23 now I think and I do find myself steamrolling most enemies besides Centurions and more powerful Draugr (and dragons but I have Ultimate Dragons installed too)
What does Combat Evolved do?

Combat Evolved, at least the plugins I use, is supposed to make poisons (by you and by the enemy) much more powerful, all damage dealt is increased (again by both you and the enemy), and I think it improved enemy AI a tad.

Anybody ever tried this one?
