I followed the tutorial and for some reason installing mods doesn't show up any mod esp's and bsa's. Not to mention I'm getting "No game data on top level"

Following STEP guide seems to recommend this over nexus mod manager, but I don't see a good reason to use this over the simplicity of NMM.

There is no reason to use either of them. Manage your install manually, if you must have an install of a shit-awful game like Skyrim at all. Fucking pleb.

Actually, once you get it properly configured, you can use it exactly as you would NMM, except it's got compatibility with your other modding tools built right in - I hate to be the "It worked fine for me" guy, but really, it worked fine for me. The Nexus Mod Manager is so bad they managed to DDOS themselves.

All I can recommend is that you start over clean and be sure you're reading the instructions carefully.

Manual works fine and is easier if you don't have too much going on, but once you start having shitloads of mods, the "work" to set up the organizer is quickly outweighed by how much time you save.

>Fucking pleb.

At least come up with something clever.

>Don't call a pleb a pleb

Pleb just describes you too well, animufag. It's no wonder you'd get triggered by it even when you weren't the original target.

Wrye Bash is the only tool you need.

To manage your load order and merge your leveled lists.

I'm sure you've already tried this but just in case.

 No.8226

Do a little problem solving and critical thinking. This wouldn't be hard to figure out if you just tried.

Its easy to configure mods in the manager, but for some reason no mods show up in the skyrim directory despite it detecting skse, skyrim launcher and skyrim itself I can launch skse from MO but why isn't my mods showing up in the data folder?

you know what, fuck MO… NMM may be broken as fuck but at least it installs mods in the fucking directory.

 No.8264

>>8260

The whole point of MO is that the mods don't end up in the skyrim install folder.

Because that's the point. Multiple mod set instances. You fucking fetcher.
