I did get Mark from /v/ to put recommend us in their board announcement a while back, which doubled board users while it was up.

Eventually he took it down, along with a bunch of other board recommendations.

I'd consider putting up an ad like >>8320

or just mentioning the board in /v/ threads but I doubt it'd work at this point.
