I've never bothered installing it because I dislike pretty much everything about Oblivion, and I wouldn't boot up an Elder Scrolls to play something that isn't an Elder Scrolls.

Years ago. Was blown away by how superior it was to Oblivion in every possible way. Tried to reinstall it a few months ago and couldn't get it to run no matter what.

Pretty generic high fantasy.

The gameplay is like Oblivion goes entirely generic RPG, with exp points, leveled areas, weapon/armor sets, etc. But oddly enough, it works really goddamn well, and the progression is often a lot smoother than Oblivion.

Really awesome game, especially the intro.

Possibly the best exploration of anti-theism I've ever seen in a fantasy context. Nehrim is well worth your time, holy shit just download it and play it if you haven't yet. It's fantastically made and is probably the best mod I've ever played for anything. It's certainly my favourite.
