Sup guys, I've got 1500+ hours on Skyrim but i've got really fucking bored lately. Can anyone recommend me / share a good combination of mods to make the gameplay interesting again.

On a side note, I'm also looking for the best combo of graphics mods to achieve the highest overall quality possible+

Before that, let me ask you…

Do you know why the Nords lost at Red mountain?

It's because they over-used the voice. They abused their power and their continuous use of words of power made these powers lose their meaning.

It's exactly like repeating a word over and over again until it doesn't make any sense, it's just on a metaphysical-cosmological sense.

This applies to yo. go play something else, drop skyrim for a while, come back to it later. Don't abuse your game.

That's what Jurgen Wind-Sniffer said at least so everyone would join his little cult.

A more mundane explanation is that Nords had been campaigning for like 300 years and were militarily overextended.

Then like 100 of them decide to go to Red Mountain and get involved in a 3 way battle they knew nothing about involving the most technologically and magically advanced race in Nirn and forces that had the potential to end the world.

They came away from that with a defeat, but still alive. And this is apparently a huge loss that requires the restructuring of pretty much your entire society into some little prayer circle.

But I agree with the sentiment via another metaphor: OP has militarily stretched thin and is relying overly much on a singular aspect of his tactical capabilities to the detriment of other options.
