TF2 CLASSIC: MAKE TF2 GREAT AGAIN
TF2Classic is a neat little modded version of an early build of TF2 (meaning no hats, conga or nonstock weapons) that adds the YLW and GRN team for new modes, VIP mode and free for all deathmatch mode with a new character. You can bunnyhop in this mod however most servers disable it because it cripples Scout's second jump, which is patched in the next update coming.

HOW TO PLAY:

Installing
1. Download
Download the client. http://tf2classic.com/download.php (Yes, it's the 2.0 beta one.)
2. Extract
Once downloaded, extract everything to your "steamapps/sourcemods" directory. You should now have "steamapps/sourcemods/tf2classic".
3. Install Source SDK Base

Go to the 'Tools' section in your Steam client and Install Source SDK 2013 Base Multiplayer.
3. 2. Changing branch
After it's installed, right click it and select Properties, then click the Betas tab and choose "beta_test".
Close the properties and it should begin updating.
4. Restart Steam
Once it has finished updating, restart Steam
Check your games. You should see "Team Fortress 2 Classic" has appeared on your games library.
FAQ:
>Do I need to have modern TF2 installed for this?
No.
>I heard about an exploit that allows injecting bad shit with sprays.
Don't worry about it. The devs of tf2c have fixed it.
>Is every map 4-team?
No.
>Can I play as merc and civilian outside of vip or dm?
You used to, the devs added a restriction on that, they're adding a setting to allow this when enabled in the next patch.

Nope
>Weapons?
Stock and a few really shitty choices the devs implemented for some reason. Medic has a shotgun but it'll be removed in the next update because it makes him a little too powerful.
