He's almost triangular shaped. Very heavyset, but he doesn't eat like a garbage disposal, so I think he's got some sort of glandular problem. He's got a goatee, he wears thick glasses, and he's one of the nerdiest fuckers I've ever known.

I also went to high school with a guy who was almost 7 feet tall and fat as fuck. He was a hilarious white trash motherfucker who loves wrestling and rap music. Never got to play any RPGs with him.

Whiskey of some kind typically. However our last gaming session devolved into a massive argument when I started doing stuff that a 3rd level warlock would be able to do, by just describing the spells and not naming them outright. Also the arrival of my familiar, Krass, a super smartass sprite voiced by the DM, had our barbarian flipping out saying I was just making stuff up.

Well I'd been multiclassing and just not really telling anybody what I'd been doing. Thanks for ruining the big reveal, assholes. Fuck.

The house my group games at, the family are practically hoarders. Food and various other stuffs all over the house, the only clear space on the floor is clearly made walkways.

They have a refridgerator full of a wide variety of soda, an overflowing pantry of snack food, an extremely well stocked liquor cabinet, and their mom makes elder god tier home made dinners for us when we game. If we're there gaming and they're going on a trip to the store, they let everyone in the group just say what they want from the store and they go and get it and buy it for us and give it to us. Everyone around the table has their own preferred snacks/sodas, but things like bags of doritos or boxes of nerds rope gets passed around.

That being said, my choice of snacks is

>kettle cooked salt and pepper chips

>vanilla coke

>peanut M&Ms

>hard cider (if i want alcohol)

and then for dinner I eat whatever their mom is cooking for us.

We're all college age and older.

I'm hosting and trying to not be as much of a fat fuck so I drink Diet Coke and eat veggies, but I put a pizza in the oven they share for lunch (we meet on Sundays from noon till five), with Mountain Dew, water, or Diet Coke for a drink. We don't mix booze and RP, especially since several group members are below 21.

Anyone have archives of the times /ck/ went to /tg/? I kinda want to try some of those out.

I'm told diet sodas actually cause diabeetus more reliably than regular soda, since the fake-sugar they put in that shit triggers the same reaction that regular sugar does…but insulin doesn't react with it properly, meaning that your body eventually stops responding to any sugar with insulin, and then you get the diabeetus.

Of course, months after this comes to light, the soda companies came out with REAL CANE SUGAR sodas that cost extra, because most of those guys can smell opportunity when it hits them in the face.

It depends, really. Our group has an arrangement wherein one person every week brings dinner (it's basically the group's version of monthly dues.) We've had a decent variety of stuff to nosh on before/during our games.

>pizzas of various quality (including some homemade ones I cooked up)

>some rather tasty beans and cornbread

>barbecue

>chinese takeout

>chili

>sausage and sauerkraut

Because it's better than Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds, or any other cheaper coffee in the States; and because most Starbucks are comfy as fuck by design. >>222796

Backpedal away, friendo.

Anyway, if I'm going low-sugar high-caffeine, I'd go for some high-end coffee. Possibly even cold-brewed. Either that, or a fine tea. However, being an amerifat, I don't have a lot of non-sugar-saturated drinks in my experience.

That's entirely debatable, and this is a thread about drinks anyways.

If you want caffeine and soda, just drink a regular fucking coke. If you want to lose weight, then don't drink soda, because it's not the calories that are the problem as much as it is everything else.

If you don't mind making it yourself I've had some whole-bean grind-it-yourself coffee from the west coast that was absolutely fucking phenomenal. Putting anything in it would've been a goddamned travesty because it was delicious as it was without any sugar or creamer or anything.

I've been trying to find the brand ever since I was sent it by a friend in the first place because it was a 5 lb. bag or so of french roast and then later I ordered Columbian from the same brand, but I lost the bag it came in and haven't been able to find it since. Point is, get a spice mill and grind down some whole-bean coffee, you literally can't go wrong. I've had whole-bean coffee that was on the cheap side and it still whipped the shit out of pre-ground coffee (ie Folger's, Maxwell House) and coffee-house stuff.

The coffee is like that for froo-froo girly drinks, which is where the real money is. It's super dark so you can taste the 10% of coffee through the 90% of it that's cream and sugar. Drawback is that it makes their standard drip coffee taste like ass.

Dunkin Donuts has the second best drive thru coffee I've tried. The best is this one small family-owned joint near me that none of you will know about unless you happen to live in SE Michigan.

That's called "espresso", Anon. It's stronger by definition.

Their French Roast and their cold-brewed coffee are also real strong, but good luck finding a Starbucks that still serves different kinds of coffee. Since nobody ever specifies which kind of coffee they want (and when they do, they go for the lattes and such), there aren't a lot of Starbucks that do multiple kinds of coffee, and there aren't a lot that do cold brew at all (since it takes fucking 20 hours just to make it).
