Welp, I'm stuck in a cabin without power in a snowstorm. Our furnace is electric.

What's a fun diceless game to play with two people while we wait for the power to come back on and/or freeze to death?

This is why you make sure to have board games with you in case of emergency.

Personal favorites for 2 include Jaipur and Carcassonne. Backgammon is also a nice choice for fun if you're with a diehard BOARD GAMES ARE FOR CHLDREN types.

Go, Chess, and even checkers are good choices too.

If you're really locked in for the long haul, something like Arkham Horror or Twilight Imperium might be good.

Either way, this should serve as a good lesson to always keep a handful of d6 and some playing cards around.

Bullshit you have internet.

Find some paper and any RPG system rules and campaign.

Make tokens out of random stuff and draw map on a paper. All character sheets can also be easily written on paper so no problem.

Alternatively you can go with some rules light system and not even have any need for stuff other than character sheets.

Or go read a book or >>225828

Never leave the house without a set of dice, a mechanical pencil, lots of paper, and a handgun. Even if you don't believe in killing for self-defense, keep one in there just for yourself, just in case. And snacks! Don't forget snacks!

play risk, you can draw a map, and use anything as tokens. also you could easily substitute dice for coins, just flip a fuck ton of them.

Chronicles of Amber with one player and one GM.

Doesn't Amber kinda assume multiple players bidding for traits and measuring them in relation to each other, though?

Meh, the GM can figure something out.

It's diceless, and it's awesome.
