It just says that there were bug corrections. In his blog, ZUN said that some of them were "serious". But I can't find anything specific. Maybe the patch has a changelog but I haven't successfully run it yet.

I got an ISO version of the game and the patch worked for that. I wonder how the version I had was different.

　・デモプレイを再生するとセーブデータを上書きするバグを修正した

　・一部のボスで、特殊条件下ショットが当たらなくなるバグを修正した

　・霊夢のボムで背景が赤くなるバグを修正した

　・その他軽微なバグを修正した

　・また中断プレイ中に解像度を変更した場合、セーブデータを使用できなくなりましたのでご了承ください

2015/10/05 ver 1.00b bug fix

　・demo play regeneration save data overwrite bug is fixed

　・first part boss under certain condition stops shooting bug is fixed

　・reimu boss background red bug is fixed

　・other miscellaneous bugs are fixed

　・if again save data become unusable by changing screen resolution, please inform
