Is it possible to be third position without being nationalist?

Are there any other non-nationalists here?

 No.478

It depends on how you define nationalism. Most of us are opposed to internationalism. So as long as you're not an internationalist you should be fine.

>>478

What do you mean be internationalism? In the old days it meant the nations of the world cooperating with each other, solving conflicts amicably, making trade agreements etc.

I'd say as long as you aren't an antinationalist internationalism is fine.

isn't that call pan-nationalism tho?

When I talk about internationalism I'm talking about globalism and the belief that borders/countries should be eliminated.

Bump because no clear answers

What do you mean?

>>478

These should pretty much sum it up. Maybe you should elaborate on what you mean by "non-nationalist".

If you're asking whether you can subscribe to third position economics without subscribing to nationalism, then sure. Anybody can sincerely hold any combination of beliefs in their heads.

Would you be recognized on this board as "one of us" and a variant within our scope of acceptance? I'd have to say no.

Ethnonationalism is pretty much the consensus among the posters here, and even though palingenetic civic nationalists like Mussolini and Stalin are sometimes referenced here, it's pretty much to inform what the poster is shooting for aside from his ethnonationalism

The talk about nationalism and internationalism dosn't make anything clear, its just as obscure as /leftypol/'s talk about spooks.

>>548

I'm very left wing but colombia is a society very different from america or europe and the people of /leftypol/ is too liberal and esoteric for my standards, I want to hang out with 3rd positionist because I felt they'll be more sensible to my culture and its concerns in general.

So long as you're part of the criollo master caste :). It's nice seeing people of solid European descent in Latin America.

I thought the term for that was Peninsulare?

 No.567

At least according to Wikipedia, the peninsulares were actual Europeans from the home continent, typically top level colonial administrators, visiting nobility, etc. Criollos are New World born and bred, but untainted (or at least not clearly tainted) by natives or slaves.

Nice to see a 4chon veteran!

Good to see your pony ass L8. I generally stay at /pol for the traffic but side boards like these are more my taste.

Internationalism is a historically mainstream strain of Scoialism. Most socialists today who are active in socialist parties are internationalists.

In Socialism it's the belief that international solidarity between working classes is desirable and necessary to smash global capitalism. For grassroots movements like the Wobblies it's never worked, and not been part of any real success they've had. In statists movements, internationalism has manifested as Commie imperialism. Think the USSR taking over Ukraine and Eastern Europe.

If you want an example of ethnic/nationalist socialism that isn't the NSDAP, look to Yugoslavia. It was successful, and was based on a pan-nationalist nationalism of a large ethnic group: the southern slavs. It was made of a patchwork of ethnic groups who had their own states. They had a family of languages and South Slav blood in common. This is what bound them together as a Socialist nation.

Worked out for 40 years, too.

As a market socialist who doesn't find internationalism to be viable I've always liked the way that Tito ran things.
