Anyways, the Boers did form some pretty based republics in the 19th century and were in the right in fighting against the British. They even formed a democratic militia system that worked incredibly well. In a way, they were almost like African versions of the Americans. After the Boer Wars however, Afrikaner nationalism took a turn for the worse when the emphasis gradually became less about a free republic and more about christfaggotry, authoritarianism, and apartheid.
