The Tenants of New Socialism, Version 1
1. Worker ownership over the means of production through worker owned cooperatives in a market setting.
2. Direct democratic control over both production and community decisions.
3. Civic nationalism based upon furthering the needs of the community as opposed to classical internationalism.
4. Change through either democratic or revolutionary means, depending on what is most expedient and will lead to the desired outcome.
5. The complete rejection of bourgeois identity politics that only serve to divide the proletariat.
6. True egalitarianism which can only be achieved through socialism.
7. Solidarity with socialists and Marxists of almost all ideological stripes, even if there may be ideological differences. This is important in overthrowing the bourgeois.
8. The establishment of a worker owned democratic state that is willing to support both revolutionary and democratic movements throughout the world. With the end goal being the establishment of these states throughout every nation in the world. This will lead to the liberation of workers in every country while allowing them the right to self governance.
