East Germans had better sex lives than their western counterparts, their women were not economically or socially exploited by the society or their husbands and both genders were held as equals both in the workforce and society at large.

In addition since they didn't have government run by ultra-conservative christians that feared anything sex related and actually encouraged young people to have healthy sex lives through the education system, people living in the GDR were also a lot more comfortable with their bodies.

Compare all of this to their western counterparts who became increasingly alienated from their bodies and sexuality and developed a thriving porn industry and rampant prostitution as a result of this alienation.

In essence yes, their society is ruled by what amounts to a theocracy that teaches its citizens that women are not on equal footing with men and are basically considered their husbands' property to be used as they wish (polygamy is also encouraged by Islam, I learned this from a muslim I talked to once).

In addition to this they are sexually repressed socially (meaning sex is not really talked about in public or private) and sexual education is pretty much non-existant in schools, as a result the youth have to learn about sex on their own, mostly from porn or other less-than-reliable sources. This information gap combined with the instinctual need to reproduce that pretty much all humans have (with the exception of asexuals) results in widespread cases of rape amongst Pakis both home and abroad.

tl;dr Pakis don't have a healthy attitude towards sex and sexuality and as a result they end up filling the gap with porn.

More effective governments. Both have crazy efficient moral police (Hisbah in Arabic I believe). Pakistan is a semi-failed state that tries to go tribal but the covert degeneracy is what prevents Tribals and/or Taliban from fucking their shit up.
