October 8th is going to be a special day, because it is not only a full blood moon, but there will be a total lunar eclipse at around 7am EST. The moon holds a lot of symbolism in many cultures and mysticism, and with the chaotic state of the world right now, what better time for TPTB to stage an event.
The latest episode of Doctor Who spoilers follow
The episode's title is Kill the Moon. It starts out with Clara warning the audience that something horrible is about to happen unless something else happens and is basically that vague about it. (events in the world are unfolding rapidly)
A bit later in the episode, Clara and the Doctor talk about whether or not the moon exists in the future, and the Doctor proposes "What if it never existed? What if it was a hologram?" (this ends up being a diversion, maybe like real life?)
A female teenage student of Clara's ended up traveling with them this episode and takes pictures of what's going on and posts them on tumblr, and the older female astronaut says "My granny used to put things on tumblr." The Doctor and Clara complain about it, because duh. (making public secrets that really matter/affect humanity)
All the other men die offscreen because the moon is covered with bacteria that look like spiders. (instinctual human fears)
The moon is an egg. It hatching is going to wipe out humanity with the debris.
The current U.S. president is a woman.
The Doctor makes a point that the big choice of destroying it or letting it live is "womankind's." (the Sons of Belial, the Dark Masons, are sexist)
They give the choice to humanity, and humanity votes to destroy it and save themselves.
They ultimately decide not to and the egg disintegrates. There was never a threat in the first place.
The Doctor: "You made your decision, humanity made its choice."
Female Astronaut: "No, we ignored humanity."
The Doctor: "Well, there you go."
She asks what happens next, and the Doctor says this is when humanity spreads out into the universe. Something happens that makes humanity look up instead of down, out into space, makes them see the beautiful and not want to destroy anymore.
