With them going under, who will force The Ruthless in to every single piece of art or story where they logically shouldn't be? So let's not only make a global trading page for their stuff. But let's also have a shooping contest! I was gonna start us off, but my GIMP is having issues.

008b29 No.11884

Honestly,I would rather someone go on a massive explanation/review of every Comic from Agencies and why they fell. I would buy that for a dollar.

22aef9 No.11916

The guy said his stuff was posted all over the net and it was too much of a hassle to keep up with DMCA'ing it. I call bullshit. Maybe people are trading it privately, but there are only a handful of places MTJ and Agencies stuff is found where there is a decent amount of traffic to even download it. The truth is, the books were a vanity project and not very good.

I've sampled a few of his titles (actually paid for them) and didn't find them interesting at all. The art was usually good, but the stories did nothing. I much prefer MTJ. At least the early stuff.

415c3a No.11942

>>11916

>vanity project

Bingo! It's a shame, cause they had some damn lovely series and even some great artists (kinda dissapointed the website was bugging when I tried to buy the few Tickle Magnet and Yelena I was missing). But shamefully, the guy behind it would ruin the story he had created by forcing that "Ruthless" thing in to everything. Or he'd go all out on drama for no reason, to the point where the comic started to get a bit too grim a fetish piece! (Seriously, who kills characters in a niche comic done for fap fuel?! I'm sure it's not just me that finds death and blood to be a bit of a "boner killer")

>Seriously, who kills characters in a niche comic done for fap fuel?

Holy hell really?

008b29 No.11945

>>11943

Yeah, unless you read tickle magnet. But,then again he was gonna make It that creepy 3d made stuff for that. Gonna miss those comics.

But, then again thinking about those 3rd models they where ploting to us (shivers)

And 50 dollars I would say 3d Ruthless somehwere in there as well.

22aef9 No.11976

>>11943

Definitely! I was totally turned off by the blood and killing. MTJ is doing the same on a couple titles and I dropped them as well. I don't know what these creators are thinking. Either they have no idea that this is a boner killer for most of us or they get turned on by some pretty twisted shit!

008b29 No.11979

>>11976

Honestly, It is to add drama/weight to the story.

But,sometimes It seems to contrast.

I know you are talking about botcop (or whatever It is). And Yeah, It seems, off.

I guess with Fetish books you need to go all in or all out.

You can't have a story with tickling being the main focus, then cut to someone getting the hex shot out of them. Justaposing is for stories I understand. But, this is infact fetish stories.

It is like having a bunch of villians use tickling then having a guy just straight up stab the heroin in the gut to add Weight. It is jarring.

4c7e91 No.11981

Like others have already said, the explanation of why no one cares is pretty simple: The comics, were overpriced crap and the artist treats his audience like they should be privileged to even know it exists.

Yup! In Agencies, he killed off a character… One of the real lookers too! Which is a bit much for something that's literally set in a world where "super powers = super ticklish"

>>11982

>>11995

Does Ozzy even still exist?

22aef9 No.11999

Did anyone bother to buy the last Agencies issue?

I'm curious how he ended it. I stopped reading back around 10.

4c7e91 No.12006

>>11995

Probably not. It's an old joke, when Yenny was discontinued, people started bugging him about releasing the material we don't have, which he responded to by throwing a fit and then mass DMCA's to people trading his now out of print books.

I wasn't aware that MTJ had resumed selling the older stuff.

22aef9 No.12007

>>12006

That's interesting, considering Ozzy/Velly screwed a bunch of people with commissions that he/she was paid for, but never completed.

f315ae No.12008

>>11976

It happened in Botcorps.

It makes the most sense in Botcorps. It's supposed to be like Dredd. None of the other releases are doing this. None of the MTJ books remotely treat death with the fetishistic payoff as Obs and Agencies did.

22aef9 No.12009

>>12008

Yeah, but like what 90% of people buying this stuff is for fap. Anykind of extreme violence is gonna wreck that. MTJ and Agencies must think this is reading material.

Agent Succubus was resurrected, so she was back.

It's hard to say. The line completely went off the rails when she got killed off for IMPACT and because Dave2112 was like the only one in development championing the idea.

None of the books concluded in a satisfactory way. Originally I thought it was going to be some kind seasonal publicity stunt, and after he got a bunch of bulk buys, he would announce like at the beginning of December that he was continuing by popular demand. Like, Hunted ended when it shouldn't from a story perspective. The Ruthless ended…when it should've just been over the issue before.

The Agencies and The Ruthless became hot fucking messes. The best stuff in the lines featured Agent Succubus and Rylie, respectively, and the guy quickly shuttered them off because, well, they were the best and most ticklish targets and they took away from his REAL creations.

>>12009

That's fine, and if it's a risk they are willing to run, that's fine too. At the end of the day, people create and try to construct the best stories they can. At least with Botcorps, I can explain it. That world is supposed to have a harsher edge, and the big thing that that is supposed to translate to is the direness and consequences of the tickling. Lots of times, lees are tickled and there's no real consequences so stories can stagnate like Saturday morning cartoons.

But with the colors and the lines, the stuff comes off too stark. I do think the people who create that line might've gotten your message on this though, as it came up in the TMF and people taking time to voice concerns or desires actually do get listened to there.

22aef9 No.12013

>>12011

>I do think the people who create that line might've gotten your message on this though, as it came up in the TMF and people taking time to voice concerns or desires actually do get listened to there.

I never got that impression. Every time they release a new title, the same people post glowing reviews. Half of them are from artists who worked on other projects for the producer.

It's like one big circle jerk.

008b29 No.12014

>>12013

To be fair, not everyone wants to be known as "Fetish porn guy." Which is what causes is some of this maddness. That being said, Agency never really seem understand what fetish It wanted to do sometime.

f315ae No.12015

>>12013

You might not have that impression, but it's the truth. There are few metrics that producers have at their disposal; sales numbers and customer feedback.

I'm one of those guys posting glowing reviews, and I do it because I dig the material. I think a lot of the stuff they've released over the past few years has been pretty damn great, and a big part of that has to do with starting correspondences with people there YEARS ago about the stuff I like to see.

If shit bothers you, state it. If you want to see something or feel something isn't being catered to like you wish it could be? State it. You don't lose anything by it, and might get to see something good.

008b29 No.12019

>>12015

I don't know. A lot of the odder stuff is nice.

And really, I have never really have gotten into to anything books for a long time.

Once, I finished Afterlands I never found anything I liked as much.

Band of thieves looked good but, It and most of the stuff at Pawfeathers seem to be in the TBA area.

And everything as of late has been tons of crossovers..Or stuff like Coochie Cougar…err..

Lexi was good, then after..Oddly enough the furry one, I kept going down hill.

Different strokes for different folks. I think practically anything Bandito touches is pretty golden. Anything I don't like the looks of, I don't buy. Anything I do, I'll give it a positive feedback.

I like a lot of the MTJ stuff, old and new.

Meh. MTJ's stuff has been less interesting for me over the last couple of years. The stuff I enjoyed they don't seem to make anymore and the stuff they do make I don't find very interesting or I feel the art isn't very good (at least not for $16).

For me, Agencies closing is no loss. The stories were a convoluted hot mess. MTJ doesn't suffer from that, for me, but it is moving in a creative and artistic direction that I have less and less interest in. I find that I am better served just commissioning custom work. It may cost more, but I get what I want. Paying $16 for an MTJ comic has, more often than not, left me feeling unsatisfied and that I wasted my money…yet again.

That's the feeling a lot of people seem to get, myself included. Personally I've only ever bought a few of MTJs comics and that's been because I loved the art style… But shamefully, those have either concluded, gotten the Lexi treatment or seem to be MIA (I miss you Tammi :[ )

Maybe there is a way to solve this problem.

I have been thinking of extenting my reach to find someone who could do fetish comics who is actually good on showing progress.

I'm gonna need names.

22aef9 No.12041

>>12030

I liked Ozzy. His cartoon stuff was great. Now (and I mean his most recent work) is a combination of phoning it in and cut and paste images.

The artist that does the cartoon style on Tournament and Bullets and a couple others is cute, but I'm not interested in paying $16 for colored sketch work.

Conversely, I really like the artists on Maggs, but I find the whole Maggs book boring as shit. I wish that artists was on Bullets or Tournament. I actually enjoyed it when that artists did some random work on MTJ's free comic.

These are a couple of examples why MTJ has not been working for me over the past couple of years. Doesn't mean its necessarily bad. It just means that I'm less interested in what they are currently producing than what they used to produce.

>I liked Ozzy. His cartoon stuff was great. Now (and I mean his most recent work) is a combination of phoning it in and cut and paste images.

Same. Ozzy should be ashamed of himself and MTJ should be ashamed that they are shilling his crap work on the back of his old work.

And what is that shit art MTJ comic…I know what your afraid…or somthin. Are people paying for that crap?

418c3b No.12047

>>12036

Making a comic business out of the fetish is seriously hard work. A lot of people are happy to pay for commissions, but not for comics…. it's why piracy is often so common within forums like this. Hell I'll admit it, I'm even responsible myself (though to be fair, it's typically a friend has acquired a new comic that I wasn't gonna buy and they've just given it to me anyway)

>>12041

Maggs is fantastic, gotta love that adorable art style and the zany characters. It's not very story driven, but that's cause it knows what it is. It's great to have a story for a series, if you know what you're doing with that story and if you understand your audience…. I know, I'm repeating the sentiment of the thread again XD

Also a lot of his recent stuff is pretty much just using old templates and putting them on in the layers! He's almost as bad as a Comipo user XD

>>12042

>what is that shit art MTJ Comic

You're really gonna have to narrow that one down bud! Do you mean it's a recent one with shit art from the get go? Or one they've lost the artist for and just gone and hired a new artist (typically the same guy)

I think he means that "We know your weakness" series. Yeah, that art is pretty terrible. Especially for what he's asking. But MTJ has had crappy artists in the past and has even given them multiple projects.

1057ff No.12066

>>12048

They hit a peak of quality…. then quickly fell on their face, bless em! I don't think I've bought something from them in about 2 years XD

22aef9 No.12069

>>12066

I've encountered some artists who feel that just because they produce a fetish comic that we should automatically buy it to support their "art." I'm sorry, but this is not the public funding of the arts. The artist creates a product. If I like it, I'll buy it. If I don't, I won't.

MTJ is more commercialism than artistic creation. The fact that they'll package substandard art like Ozzy's recent stuff because he was super popular in the early 2000's is a good example that they are less interested in quality and more interested in making a quick buck.

Hi everyone

I have a ton of Agencies files on RAR that someone posted either here or on 4chan a long time ago

The file is called the tklpack1 tklpack2 and tklpack3

Was about to post it all but the problem is its password protected, can't remember the password for the life of me, I'm sure I saved it somewhere so will have to check

It was something like tickleagencies8 or ticklingcollect etc

I know its a long shot but has anyone here downloaded it themselves in the past or remember it all? ha

Can someone post Agencies 25?

22aef9 No.12217

>>12181

don't waste your time. I bought this book to wrap up the series. Total waste. It's like the anon said. It's a vanity project. There is hardly any tickling in the final issue. The writer just wanted to tie up his crappy mess of a story with his other books. He doesn't even do that well.

Hah i remember when the guy was trying to make a story for this series

I forget how many years back but the Agency story guy did a tickle podcast?

I remember one of the things that halted his process was StarWars episode 1 NO JOKE

he had a concept similar to Midiclorians.

Seriously there were micro lifeforms in the agents that granted them their powers

But after Episode 1 he had to come up with a new concept for the powers the agents had.

So sad but eh.

Eh, at the moment I don't think midi-chlorians are that bad, then again I don't mind the blending of science and spirituality. I can see how someone might not like them if they prefer the Force to have entirely spiritual aspects.

If it leads the comic to the point where it would honestly be better off dropping the fetish content all together since the author is obviously more interested in other aspects I can see the problem, but I can't see a problem with an author trying to be creative and actually put thought into their ideas. Said lack of thought is why most commissions you see are X character in a set of stocks.
