I think he said he and his girlfriend are not very fond of MLP anymore as a show since the last seasons.

Also, i believe he said that they don't feel they're part of the fanbase anymore.

I don't know if it's because they had some bad experiences with spergy annoying bronies or because they just didn't feel comfortable as MLP fans at one point. Since they erased their previous DA journal entries about the subject, i'm not sure.

However, i remember clearly they said they don't mind doing MLP-stuff as commission work as long as the resulting pictures are not featured on their own gallery (the commissioners can post them in its own DA page, though).

Not much of an MLP fan myself anymore, but I will admit he did do some decent pictures, particularly where Celestia, Luna, or Chrysalis were concerned.
