Yep. Most artists are content to just draw 1 of 3 hackneyed scenarios: tickled in stocks/pillory, tickled while tied to a table/chair/bed, or tickled by tentacles/mechanical hands.
The few innovative artists in the tk scene are Japanese and most of them went MIA years ago.

I think the only ones who have it as their sole source of income are likely living with their parents or are in a similar condition where food, utilities, etc, is either taken care of by another or isn't as a big a hindrance on them.
Most I believe do just do commission work as an additional source of income while their main source comes from a job.
