So I was sitting infront of my notepad++ screen after tearing through some code, looking for a new project and thought I think it's about time for me to tear into making a game for the first time and it got me to thinking about a ticklefag game. Don't get your hopes up, I can barely make a brick breaker clone, but nonetheless it got me wondering. What is the ideal tickling game? The closest I've ever gotten was NDT2000's Madlab Tickling V2, but even that was just a bunch of premade animations with some poorly synced audio. Tower of Gargalesis was good for what it was, but it was basically a text-based adventure game. A good one, but still just a poorly made RPG with great writing. I've seen Julie the Tickler, but that's a contextual (puzzle?) flash game that you can beat in about twenty minutes.
Action games don't really lend themselves for a tickling porn game because it's too fast paced. The closest we could get would be some kind of Galgun-like game where the girls get tickled and fall over.
Strategy games wouldn't work either. The pace is slow enough but I can't think of a single situation to work tickling into the core mechanics. The best we could do would be reward success with tickling, and I don't think that's the right way to go about it.
Adventure games? Maybe. Card games? I could see it working. Horror game? Very possible.
My question is; Since tickle porn games normally lend themselves to RPGs due to the narrative focus of the genera, we hardly ever see anyone try to make one outside of it. What would the ideal tickling game be?
