Hello All! This thread is exactly what it says on the tin! Because I am actually genuinely interested in your opinions, because I am very curious on these sorts of matters. I am certain you have an opinion, given this was the very topic that started this.

To start off, why don't have a few questions.

What is your opinion on nonbinary/nounself pronouns?
What is your worldview on transgender issues?
Where do you stand on gender-neutral bathrooms?
Optionally, are you cis or trans?

I hope you all stay civil, and have fun!

Generally I am accepting of pronouns, as long as they're "reasonable", but if it's new to me, I'll probably try to ask what it means to that person.
E.g. seriously what does "xer" mean, I really wanna know!
Gender neutral bathrooms seem… like a thing, but the problem is, knowing the general public, it would probably be abused to hell! Honestly, I don't think it's about equality and representation of the non-binary, but the fact that separating them is kind of necessary because of the people out there who:
A: Don't understand non-binary/trans people
B: Would abuse a bathroom in which both sexes do their business.
And yeah, I'm transfemale. She/Her/Isaac/Jane preferred.

Fuuuueeeeellll to the fiiiiirreeeeee

1) Any pronoun whose sole purpose of existence is to make someone feel better about themselves is absolutely unnecessary and silly.

2) Many of their problems are real and should be dealt with. At the same time, it shouldn't just be up to trans people to determine the rules of social interaction and public discourse of gender issues that concern them. When deciding how to handle issues like nonbinary toilets and similar things, we need to look at society as a whole and not just blindly fulfill the demands of a minority.

3) Why not just exclusively have neutral bathrooms to begin with?

I am personally cis-gendered. To a lot of people this means my opinion is null and void.

1: There should only be three sets of gendered pronouns, with the third set being them/they to acknowledge intersex people. Anything else is going overboard. (Don't get me started on some of the ones I've seen.)

2: Transgendered people have real problems that are unfortunately not gaining a lot of traction mainly due to multiple factors.

3: Gender neutral bathrooms, with doors, should be a thing. I do not want to walk in on someone's junk, anyone's junk. Not just men, ladies too.

1) I'm fine with pronouns as long as they have a meaning or reason, but there are cases people just choose a random string of three or more letters and staple them onto *e/*im/*is (or just complete gibberish with no basis in any real languages) and make people remember it so that they can feel special.

2. >Aposke
I wish I could form my own opinion about this but I've been sitting here for like an hour deleting and rewriting the same words over and over, and then I game up. Whatever, what Aposke said was good enough, and way more eloquent than anything I could have typed.

3: If it's going to be a single-person restroom, yeah, I don't see why we even still have single women's/men's rooms. I feel like a unisex multi-stall restroom could be abused (not like that doesn't already happen), but as it is it's not like it's illegal for anyone to use either restroom.

I can finally say my opinion on this subject without getting banned. So…

>What is your opinion on nonbinary/nounself pronouns?

I think it's stupid when people invent words and want to be called by them just so they can be a special snowflake. There's only two pronouns, one for each gender and it should stay like that (or even one pronoun for everything is fine). But the worst is when people are offended because you didn't called them by their OC donutsteel pronoun.

>What is your worldview on transgender issues?

They chose to be like that so they deserve it.

I don't hate trans people themselves, but I dislike the idea of transexuality. People are born in some way, that's how life is. Some people are tall, other small, and you can't change it. It's the same for genders, some are born man, other woman, that's how it is. I think trying to change your gender is unnatural. So if they decide to go against the current and mutilate their body to be like how they imagine they should be in another life and then struggle in life because of that that's their problems. They are a very small minority anyway, so their problems aren't a priority.

>Where do you stand on gender-neutral bathrooms?

I don't mind. As long as I can shit in my cabin in peace I don't care if after I'm done I'm washing my hands with men or women around.

>Optionally, are you cis or trans?

I'm normal.

cis is a useless word and I can't take seriously anyone who use it unnironicaly.

Not as faggot as the original forum it's inspired from.
