Can't tell if it's proportionate without context. Most of the talkhaus would fit on the cringe channel.

Why would you be excited about the talkhaus dying? And who says it is? Anyone who hasn't already left is clearly never going to. And even if Rena quit, what's the alternative? Probably Horikawa, and would she really be any better? She'd just be a less erratic Rena.

And even if someone genuinely better took over, would anyone who's left come back? It's been over a year since this started now. People have moved on. It's unhealthy to dwell on bitterness.

Huh, someone actually responded to this. Didn't really expect that to be honest (hence my late reply). The first post about talkhaus "dying" was related to some drama that was happening at the time where I believe Rena explicitly mentioned she didn't want to continue running the site. I don't really remember the details, but if you look up the iso forum's twitter thread for that time you can probably reconstruct some of it.

And while I agree with you that it's very unlikely that the current string of bullshit moderating on Talkhaus is going to stop anytime soon, I know plenty of people who left because they were upset yet still continue to watch raocow and would like an alternative place to discuss his LPs, games, etc. (see: a good portion of IsoNation, old Skypehaus and some of the folks at Discordhaus)
