Dont tell me to get General, I have tried them and they set my throat on fire and the burn makes me nauseous. I will eventually step up to General but for now I will just stick to this.

 No.376

Never tried that. I have a general wintergreen portion in and it's good. Were you using loose snus or portions?

 No.377

I was using general mini-white mint portions

Mint is nauseating to me. Try something else. Wintergreen is my favorite but licorice is good too.

This channel is pretty good, not just reviews

https://www.youtube.com/user/cigarobsession

With almost 30k subscribers he's probably the most popular cigar reviewer on the internet right now. The official Cigar Aficionado channel only has 9k in comparison.

 No.121

Five days clean from dip.
I feel better and more energetic. I dipped for three years, and just started feeling tired and worn down. I wasn't getting any enjoyment out of it anymore.
I've tried Cope, all brands, long and fine, Longhorn, Skoal, Grizzly, Kayak, Redman long and whole leaf and even the kind you snort.
Hate to say it guys…but I'm an ex dipper now.

Not sure I would consider it dip, but I have some Oden's Extreme Licorice Portion.

It's swedish snus, but I don't want to start a whole thread just for snus, as there not too many people I know you really use it.

I love snus, my only problem is that I dont get nearly the amount of nicotine buzz from snus. But I do benefit from it being extremely discrete and doesnt taste as shit as dip. I can only dip or chew if I am drunk. Snus I can have anytime

afaik the regular american spirit tobacco products are not organic tobacco

there are two variants/flavours by american spirit that is not only without additives but also grown organically

i only tried the one that seems to be a variant of the baby blue one

its alot harshed then the regular one, but the high nicotine content is the same

So I've switched from Old Glory to good Deustchland for several years. I didn't have the foresight to bring many of my usual cigarettes, and I'm having a hard time finding anything I like here. I started smoking with the unfiltered Lucky Strikes, but the black Natual American Spirits became may favorite. End result is that now I have a hard time finding anything here that doesn't taste weak.

I know nothing about the legality of shipping anything over, so I'd like info on that or maybe just a few recommendations for brands I could get here. Either cigarettes or loose tobacco I could hand-roll.

 No.366

Just buy whole leaf tobacco.

 No.362

I think you're out of luck.

That having been said, getting hold of black market smokes is fairly easy. Find a store that sells cigarettes which isn't owned by a multinational. (E.g. a milk bar or corner store somewhere) and after confirming that they sell tobacco, ask them if they have any of `the cheap stuff'. Worked for me everytime when I was a smoker.

>At least you admit that they are tobacco and therefore relevant to this board.
You are relevant but don't try to advocate for cigarettes other than from a personal freedom standpoint.
>I don't get anything out of it.
You're like a college slut who drinks to get drunk and cigar/pipe smokers are like those who drink whiskey in moderation because they appreciate the flavors and care that went into making it.

I won't pretend that there is any comparable sophistication with cigarettes, nor will I act like a swine before pearls and mock the discernment which cigar/pipe smokers have.

If there is any one prevailing feature with cigarettes, though, it is that they are "anytime". Whether if it's going outside with coworkers or college friends on a smoke break, running into a smoker on the street and asking for a light or outright bumming a cig (or them doing so with you), there is a definite social aspect to them which is transferable to nearly any environment.

I can certainly say that I've befriended people whom I never would've met if it weren't for us regularly running into each standing in the same spot outside for our dose, and that there were moments of intimacy with my ex which were started or enhanced by the mutual lighting up of a fag.

 No.358

>>342
what are you even talking about 'hooked on additives'? to the best of my knowledge the main addictive element of cigarettes is the nicotine, which is also present in pipes, snus, cigars, dip, snuff, etc. also do you think you're telling us anything new by saying cigarettes are unhealthy? according to the mainstream perspective pipes and cigars are also unhealthy. so get off your high horse.

 No.359

>>358

Switching from newps to spirits was a real fucking struggle. They add additional nicotine and chemicals to non organic cigs to make them more addictive. I still went into withdrawal smoking the same amount of spirits as newps.

 No.361

>>359

actually american spirits have far more nicotine than any other brand. this is because they are just tobacco, which contains nicotine, whereas other brands contain additives. that's okay though as the nicotine is not what kills people, the tar allegedly is. as for the additives they put in other cigarettes i'm unaware of any of them being addictive, but i'm open to correction.

Anyone here know about this method? If you could, it'd help if you could explain the steps for setting it up. Also I know how the weed is involved and that the whole process is essentially for the weed, but in case it's not readily available can it be substituted with tobacco

16 year olf faggot here I have a question to my adult friends.

Ive been regularly smoking for about 2 weeks now and im starting to get paranoid that my parents are suspicious.
This is a problem for me as they are heavily against this and would make my life hell if they found out.

>What tips and tricks do you have for someone trying to hide their habit?

When it comes to getting rid of the stench, try to shower afterwards. If this is not an option, try to go out on a long walk when you smoke, with the super-majority of the journey taking place after you've had your final puff.

If the situation allows you to drive out, then have the air conditioning on full blast with max dispersal on the ride home. Try not to have more than two cigarettes if you have to be back home, and can't shower, within an hour. This goes for walking as well as driving.

These are just my tips though.

Also, I assume you're smart enough to figure out how to dispose of butts. Remember to beware the possibility of tobacco flakes getting into your pockets.

 No.352

I'm also 16 and here's what I do:

I smoke in school only and relatively early so the bad smell can get off my fingers and of myself troughout the day. I also smoke relatively rarely. You can also use parfume after smoking if you want.

I only smoke one cigarette, maybe two.

I prefer handrolling tobacco over normal cigarettes since 1. I have the feeling that they're stronger than normal ones 2. it's cheaper (at least where I'm from) and 3. my fingers don't smell just as bad as they do with normal cigarettes

As for hiding your stuff: There's two options
1. Hide your stuff to the best of your abilities and pray. Pros: Your parents may never find out when you hide it really good. Cons: It'll get really akward when they find out and you probably won't be able to talk yourself out of this.

2. Don't hide it and just walk around with it in your jacket or school bag or something. Pros: It's easier to talk yourself out of this since you don't seem suspicious wheras you would if you did hide it. Cons: Your parents might find out more easily.

There's also a third option that is called asking your friends for cigarettes. That way you won't have to hide anything lol

>smoking the tobbacous JEW

I don't fap, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs medicinal or recreational, I only eat food because I have to, and breath because I have to, but I'd like to do away with those things too one day.

Why the fuck do you smoke? To feel happy? To numb the pain of your neglected body?

Just straight up tell me why you do it and be honest. Don't give me any bullshit statistics or studies, why did you get into this habit, why do you continue it, why do you like tobacco?

I don't need tobacco in my life. I couldn't fucking afford it for one, I hate the idea of inhaling smoke and carcinogens, and I don't like the idea of a material substance modifying my body.

I want to rise up above the material plane, the demiurge, and return to pleroma.

People keep offering me free drugs of all sorts all the time but I don't want it.

Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

>draw it into your mouth

aka inhale?

Also, having it in your mouth is still going to result in toxins getting into your body.

Kind of like how if you ever brush your teeth with fluoridate toothpaste, all the fluoride goes into your body…

Had pic related. Smoke output was crazy in the first third but calmed down and turned out to be a really pleasant smoke. I might pick it up in a larger size since 26 dollars for a robusto is a little too expensive. The other night I had the La Flor Dominica Colorado Oscuro in a toro and it was shitty. Smoke output was bad and picked up a little in the middle, but it was basically tasteless.
