what products would you recommend for a first time smoker?

Is there an infographics thing or a recommendation chart?

I was considering trying silk cut cigarettes, although rolling my own also seems viable.

Do you have American Spirit in the UK?

No, not for retail in my local shop anyway.

If in the UK smoke Chancellors. They are expensive and no one will know they are expensive, except you kek.

Silk Cut isn't what it used to be. Expect it to taste like burning plastic.

I recommend Hamlet miniatures. They're three or four times stronger than a usual cigarette, but the tobacco is a higher grade, with fewer additives, and the price is about the same. You're not meant to inhale. Plus you get a tin, instead of some shitty cardboard wrapped in clingfilm.

Let the lining of your mouth absorb the nicotine.

Been meaning to make pro-smoking infographics for a awhile now, now that there's a board devoted to this I'll start looking into it more.

I saw an infograph on /pol/ one time essentially refuting secondhand smoke. Got that one?

No anti-smoke here, but I'd recommend against cigarettes, especially if you haven't smoked before. They're like the candy of smoking. Even if they don't give you cancer they fuck with your ability to do shit. Plus commercial cigarettes are a fucking joke these days. They no joke use less than half as much tobacco as they used 50 years ago. The rest is "puffed" tobacco and fillers and shit.

I'd recommend cigars/cigarillos or, if you really want cigarettes, roll them. There's some nice rolling blends. If you have a full service tobacconist near you check it out. Smell some and see what you like.

Not so for all of them, the American Spirit brand is still pretty decent. Price wise they're all a joke compared to rolling your own of course.

For a beginner thinking of rolling his own I'd say learn how to roll backwards to make thinner cigarettes and inhale a small quantity of air alongside the smoke since it's much hotter than a normal full sized cigarette with a filter. At least until your lungs and throat are used to the heat. Just go to a tobacconist and ask for a bag of Virginia blond with some rolling papers to get started.
