What do you think would happen if the embargo was ended this year? Would we truly see better cigars available in the US or has the industry progressed much more outside of Cuba?

All of European tobacco literature I've read has ranked non Cubans higher. I also heard that many of their senior rollers are retiring because of age so it'll be interesting to see how the reception is.

The embargo doesn't mean much when you can go to Canada and buy as many as you want. They're not considered anything special there.

The only allure they held was because of their illegal status. There are dozens of island nations in that region that produce cigars of just as good if not better quality.

Off the top of my head, the only cuban cigars that are just amazing compared to other countries would be the Cohibas or Montecristo no.2
