I'm going to my first Psychiatrist appointment in less than a month, and I want to get HRT…

What should I say? What should I avoid saying? Any advice on how to land HRT sooner than later?

Keep in mind that you NEED to get SRS in your state, if you want to legally change your gender. If SRS is a totally not your desire, I'd say you should move to another more liberal state.

Also, keep in mind that there are good therapists and absolute SHITTY ones. You need to be sure about them, how your relationship to them is and if it works at all.

Speaking about suicide is a NO GO. You might get denied HRT, because then they say you are mentally instable and not strong enough to deal with depressions. Also, DO NOT tell some story, that you are into dickgirls or anything creepy in general.
