Grow your hair, learn how to properly use makeup (do not overdo it, oh god please dont overdo it), shave shave shave, use skincare products, keep your hair really clean, maybe pierce your ears. Get glasses too. Use lip balm or whatever to keep your lips nice.

Idk, IMO (and maybe it's unpopular) traps who don't pass in the face are still fine. I mean they might not fit the definition of "looks female enough to "trap" someone" 100%, but they're still cute to me at any rate

well i do all those things except makeup, but i've been ready to try some subtle eyeliner for a while now, maybe a little lip action too. thought about glasses as well. piercing the ears though might be a bit much, it'd definitely raise some questions around the house.
does anyone have any tips on buying the makeup in person? i've been able to get by buying nair, lotion, girlier shampoos, nail care products, and all other hygiene products with a decent amount of confidence, but i turn bright red the moment i start looking at the makeup.
even with the story i thought up to tell the cashier "oh my gf told me to buy some colors i'd like to see on her" cuz im not sure its even a buyable story.

Been lurking a little, noticed trans are the distinct majority here among traps.

Came here curious about how to doll up for the odd weekend and see if I can pass.

Kind of want to start slow, maybe go androgynous and then dress up in a power suit with some padding and a touch of makeup to tip the appearance to the feminine side.
