You can tell Alice Crawford is having a little more trouble doing a completely natural voice, but she is also striving for a more girly/feminine sound than Bailey. I believe she is physically pretty big, like 6' or bigger, so maybe there is some resonance just from the size of her chest cavity or throat.
I still think that's a very passable voice. Her accent helps as well, since people write off any dissonant sounds as being part of the accent. Certain languages, especially German and some related languages, will make any female speaker sound more masculine. By contrast, French has a particularly feminine sound, as do Italian and Spanish to a much lesser degree.
