Honestly, it's hard to put into words. A lot of pickup is based on these superficial nuances in conversations. It's a long song and dance that you have to go through, and the most annoying thing is that when you fall flat, you usually don't know why. If you do or say something rude to a friend that you later regret and he stops hanging out with you, it sucks, but you understand why. With women, they feel something is off, and they run, and you are left going back over the conversation to try to figure out some trivial thing that you said that made them lose interest.
If their instincts were really good, I can understand women following them, but I saw guys who were better than me with girls despite the fact that they were sort of phony and seedy and lacking in substance. Women don't pick particularly good men. Looks matter, and I can respect that, but less than they do with how men choose women.
They say that women like guys with a sense of humor, but this is only half-true. If you're a really fucking funny guy, I mean creatively funny, that carries less weight than being the "funny guy" in the office. Comedian Jim Norton, who is really fucking funny, not only pays for prostitutes, but the prostitutes don't even get in touch with him, even for follow-up business. A lot of male humor is too sharp and cutting for women. It flies over their heads, or it needs to be dumbed down and made too obvious.
Maybe I'm dreaming, but traps seem to retain at least some male normalcy, and the type of boring guy that would get women excited would probably seem boring to them as well.
Males pick women on a few rational criteria.
>Do I find her attractive?
>Does she have an agreeable personality? Is she interesting?
>Does she have the right combination of being sexual while being loyal?
>Does she have mental issues? Is she looking for someone to rescue her financially or emotionally?
That's also how women used to pick men a few decades ago, based on similar criteria.
Today, it's this weird seduction conversational game that usually only leads to a fuck or a short-term relationship.
Traps might have their own issues, but they seem more normal in this regard.
